I always have fun brainstorming of ideas for new pet colors! Like what would they come up with next for a new potion? So if you ever thought of a random pet color that would work on Subeta - feel free to lay it out here and explain it!

My favorite one that I thought about would be a Aurora Borealis color! It would include like a dark colored pet, maybe like black or purpleish base and different Northern Light colors!

I just want a color that comes from the Sacred Lands. It would be really similar to the aurora colors you mentioned :) Many of the minion species that come from saherimos have this pretty pale blue/pink/purple/yellow color scheme and it's so nice :o

Honestly, they could just use these colors for a simple "recolor" and I'd adore it, OR they could take inspiration from the lands and make a re-posed "spirit" color that looks ethereal. I'd be hooked.

I would appreciate a chocolate colour = ) Aurora would be a cool colour too!

As for my suggestion, uhm... maybe a "senior" color? =P We do have a chibi color already, so.

A green color that's darker than field, jade

A yellow that doesn't have shine

Turquoise and Magenta.

WOW! I love this! I will link your topic in my original post! I agree so much with what everyone is saying. I think it could easily be deprived from the galactic pet. Did you ever see ATLA or TLOK? I think if the eyes were lit up like when Aang or Korra goes into the avatar state such as....

I just want more colorfills in general. Dusk and Dawn Swampies have very nice shades and I'd love to see them as official colors but...they aren't Dusk/Dawn. :D

Aurora Borealis idea sounds awesome! I would love something like that~

I got the idea of something stained glass inspired. Like some fill in coloring, that makes it looks like the pets are made like stained glass windows.

Or something like "Candy" themed, where the pets would look like they were made of or decorated with candy and sweets~

It's not quite the same idea I have :3 Like they would be made with actual candy. Like marshmallow bodies, with gum drop eyes and noses, frosting details, liquorice hair/manes etc.

YES! Totally agree! I def want to see more Harvest pet! I have an autumn pet and I am anxiously waiting until the release of the Harvest Paralix! EEE! Also, I think the Sweetheart potion leans more towards Valentine's Day? I could be wrong but that's my guess!

I absolutely LOVE this idea! I think it would be hard because Neopets has a chocolate/candy color so it would have to deprive completely different from the look: Neopets Chocolate Color

@ lavy I have wanted an aurora colour since forever. I live in hope!

I think it would be really fun to get some of the plushies you see around on site get their 'real life pet' counterparts. For example: Gingerbread is such a lovely colour combination, it would make a fantastic colour fill.

Take the hat off because of the no clothes on pets rule, but it would be great to have some fun, bright multicoloured refills.

Because gemstone themed pets could be so pretty and would fit some species (like chelons and mahars) so well

I think the idea for gingerbread and candycane could go in for the candy/chocolate potion? some pets could have different incorporations of sweet treats in their design! I don't know if candycane would ever be possible because I think the coloring is too close to Sweetheart :c

But the gemstone idea I LOVE! I think we should totally do a earthy look. A water look or air would be cool too. Maybe water would be too close to glacier? Who knows lol

I still dream of a turquoise and/or petrol recolor.

As for repose colors I have to admit that I used to like the old Grey and Fairy Pets on Neo so having sth. similar to them would be nice imo. hides under blanket again

I got another idea for a new pet colour, it was because of the royal bakhoru plushie at the token shop today xD A royal colour would be pretty cool! Something majestic, majestic pose : D Maybe some applications with gold and or silver or so?

idk if origami could be a colour or if that falls under nostalgic because i have that paper-kite torrent but paper animals are cute

and im all for gemstone/stained glass. my idea is more of a crystal-ish look, kind of like an ice sculpture, but in different colours rather than white

i did think of a glitchy matrix computer virus look as well, but ive got no idea how to pull that off

also why dont we have elephant-looking pets? this saddens me :c
