Has fragging changed? Since when did fragging r175s and r160 not give you 1 for 1 crystal ratio?
I'm assuming it just happened today when they made Cave Crystals fraggable. I wish I'd known 'cause I just turned 2.4k things into only 1.2k Crystals. ;_;
Art by ~ Sig by ~- oh dude that sucks :( I only turned in 7 items and discovered it. I think if they have changed it it should be in the news post.
I don't know when exactly they changed it, but I noticed it yesterday morning (before the news post about the Coda Crystals).
I agree they should have made a mention of it or something. But it seems to be a common thing now for them to just change stuff and not say anything about it...
Sad but true :(
the only indication given that it is no longer 1:1 was this snippet from the news post:
Didn't 100% rate seem kinda OP in the first place?
- true and I was surprised when they started letting us frag r160 and r175 that they were 1:1 but the point isn't the exchange rate it's the not telling us they changed it, not even a clue that it could have changed.
I don't know if a warning would have done any good, and you figured it out quickly. I'm not saying they shouldn't tell us when things get changed but I don't see this change as a big deal to not mention explicitly
There are tons of r160 and r175 items, and even more r150 prizes that are dirt cheap and in mass supply that will get shifted into those fragable rarities. This nerf was necessary if we want to keep crystal shop priced about the same.
- I think it's a big deal for some people, like someone I spoke to, who fragged over 1k of items to discover they aren't worth what they expected.
Sure the change may be a good thing for the crystal shop but no warning is rude/expensive to those who frag lots.
1k crystals which they paid what 1k each for yesterday, unless they bought overpriced ones today? 500 humming power crystals = 3.5m approx 1k crystals at 1k ea = 1m investment I think they still did well
Now crystal prices are 5k, so they aren't worth it. Prices will even out probably.
There was warning in the news post, though it could have been a lot more obvious.
- it's not about whether they did well out of it and you have no idea what they paid for the items they fragged. The fact is, at some point they had investigated and discovered a ratio of 1 to 1 which then disappeared with out warning. I know they said "If you want to take the risk, you might be able to turn in your Coda Caves crystals in exchange for one that hums a bit." but I'm not talking about just crystals this is about all r160 and r175s
A proper news post saying the ratio has changed would have been better, I don't like cryptic hints -_-
Would they have sold those items if they had announced the change, or would they still have fragged them? I'm just playing devil's advocate here. If the change causes people to sell the r160/r175 items, prices will go down, then they get bought out and get fragged again.
