I just want to do a recolour really of one of the experiment pets. How would I go about this? Would it be ok to go over the original image, or would that be a no no? Would I be better off trying to do it all from scratch?

My Gloopy is just a Chibi Kerubi recolor with removed wings and an added bandana, Haggard only lost the Reborn Legeicas' smile and his fur is black instead of orange - nevertheless both custom overlays have been accepted without any sort of problem so it's really not necessary to create sth. from scratch.
