[img align=left]https://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b174/theatticbox/Persnickety_1.png[/img]I've got some exciting news for all of you! In addition to [size=12pt]interviewing potential groundskeepers and matrons, I am also looking to hire live entertainment for our Second Term Ball!

For those who were not around for the first term, let me explain a little about our balls! This will mostly be a roleplaying event, however there will be games and contests as well. The catch: it will be held outside of the cult in the Roleplaying forums! This means you will be able to bring a date, a friend, or a whole group of friends not part of the cult to dance, have some punch, and partake in the general merriment. Please take some time before the Ball starts to read the rules for the Roleplaying forums.

There will also be an HA contest held in the Avatar Contests & Games forums!

In addition to each term having a ball, each ball will have a theme! The theme is chosen by our current term's Prefects.

I'm happy to announce that this term's theme is Fairytale!

The ball is set to start Saturday, January 23rd. Please note that this date is tentative and is subject to change.

Now that we have that out of the way, onto the auditions for the live entertainment!

We are currently taking auditions for musicians to create a fairytale-worthy magical band. Think you've got what it takes to be part of our 5-member band? Create an HA to show it!

Contest Rules: 1.) No school uniforms! 2.) You must give your character a name. It should be a different character from your student character. 3.) You must tell us what instrument your character plays (even if it is displayed in your avatar). 4.) Please do NOT give your HA a background! The Vanishing Cream and Whiteout items are fine, since these create a white background only. 5.) No animals please.

(Your character should be able to work well with others!)

Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the contest rules and theme shall be awarded 10 House Points! 5 Human Avatars will then be chosen to be part of our wizarding band. The creators of the chosen HAs will receive an extra 20 House Points each!
