Despite the weird sounding headline, here's a bit of super feel-good news out of Vancouver I think everyone could use in their day to day:
" Okay, so you’ve made some bad decisions. You’ve hurt people. You’ve hurt yourself. You’ve stumbled through life from one self-inflicted disaster to the next without anything even approaching a plan. To which I say: welcome aboard. Maybe you’re not good... but you’re sure as hell good enough. "
Aww, this makes me so happy! That's such a neat adoption idea, allowing you to drink coffee and play with cats. :) It makes me wish we had something like that where I live. But then again, it's probably good that we don't. I would come home with a new cat every time I wanted a cappuccino...
I was so glad to hear about it! And I am right with you on that... no self control. I'm already taking in a third cat right now since my oldest cat is turning fifteen this year, but I have zero self control. I'd leave with a cat every time I walked in.

It's not the same one, but there's a Cat cafe where I live, too. I love cats, don't get me wrong... but it seemed so unhygienic to me. 😣 A friend brought me here to eat, which I think was their mistake, because they walk all over the tables. It's more like a place to go to see the adorable kitties. <3 When I went, everyone just seemed to be taking pictures of the cats, and petting them.
I'm happy that they've partnered with the SPCA to get cats adopted, though.
