Will it be getting a revamp soon? I'd like a bad-ass dragon and the current one looks too....Disney-ish?

sigh I looked for a board like that and never saw it. It sucks when you actually try to do your research but miss one little thin and end up looking like a moron.

I gotta disagree on this one. I like how my hydrus one looks and don't think it needs changed. If they could make it look even cooler then sure but I like it the way it is now.

I agree. Why not? It's an older drawing, and could use some improvement in both details and anatomy.

A revamp is not going to utterly change the way the design looks. It only updates the art with better lines and shading, and sometimes better anatomy.

Again, if you want a less 'Disney' dragon, get an overlay, or go with a Mahar.

Yeah, I suppose it's more of what the artist's view with some feedback before and afterhand. But who knows, some pets like the Tigrean have been revamped to look considerably different, well in term of realism. Perhaps that's what she meant by Disney-ish, if that meant cartoonish?

The OP has a Mahar already though. An overlay could be considered.

I'd look for the day when they eventually revamp the Rreign after the others in the queue are done.

@blackwolf_2009 Yeah the hydrus is fine I guess. That's why I made Antioch one. It was the closest to the type of dragon I wanted but I'm not exited about the aquatic look. I'm talking about the more basic colors.

The serpenth and the fester are the only two I can think of that went through any major revamping, and that was because their original designs were so horrid. You had a white worm with black wings, and a brown buzzard with a green mohawk. They were pretty bad.

The rest, for the most part, have just been cleaned up. The rreign isn't likely to get a big major overhaul, because it's design isn't ugly like original serpenth/fester

The Fester is a very good revamp. The Serpenth revamp does make it better, but the complaints never end about its wings and how it's awkward. I won't mind if the wings go.

If the Rreign gets a revamp, hopefully it will have more differences than the current with the Magnus.

Also specifially, the Hydrus Rreign looks more distinct to the other Rreigns especially with the head, but there are still issues starting with the legs. I (along with other people) could nitpick about the Rreigns, but I'll leave for future discussion.

I love harpy eagles, so I was happy that the went with a harpy eagle look over the vulture.

The rreign could use a clean up, but over all it's not bad. The Charlie needs a lot more work (because what the hell even is that thing). This is definitely a case of 'if you want it to look more realistic, get an overlay'.

The Charlie is a happy Charlie Brown and Dillema hybrid (Not scientifically proven). Smaller body, big head like the Peanuts :) It needs more help than the Rreigns for sure!

Considering there is a very prominent NPC who happens to be a Rreign (sup big red) I don't expect a major redesign, tbh.

Rreigns are also not HUGE BADASS EDGY DRAGON

If you really want a badass dragon specie, I can say the Rreign is not one.

They are large scaly puppies.

Just because they're personalities are cute doesn't mean they can't look awesome. Besides, I'm not looking for Maleficent or anything (although, it would look nice on the NM rreign, which I feel looks kind of goofy)

Its features are round and the eyes are very round. I'm not fond of that

The rreign's features are way rounder and pudgier. And it's eyes don't look as natural. The M. Pena dragon seems to be a nice compromise between both looks.
