My pet is in the resort and he has a minion. His happiness is still at 0/10?

I'm trying to use the BC, but I can't because he is unhappy.

; try giving him toys to play with? sometimes the happiness just drops and stays down until some unknown force i can not explain finally refreshes it to being full.

I know usually the Resort won't change the happiness levels immediately, but I find that if you wait a short while (I think) that should change.
