Is it me or have Carl's Quests took a real hit vis a vis profits lately? I haven't been able to make a single sP from him for ages; every single quest has been a net loss and a big net loss at that. I did one of his quests just now, what with the weekend special effect on, and while I started with just over 8.3 million sP I now have... 7.6 million sP. He asked for a 5k+ item and I, like a fool, thought I'd get my money back. But it turns out it was the same old story.

Is this a thing with Carl or am I just Questing Wrong?

I haven't noticed anything off with Carl in terms of sP prizes. I just did all of my quests and earned almost 900k in sP profits alone. I will say that I normally find him asleep for 2 or 3 of his quests, but in the past two days, he hasn't been asleep for me at all.

No, you are not the only one who noticed it. I opened up a topic to address the issue a while ago. Keith said what he always says: "Noooo, nothing changed! Nothing at all!!!"

Carl asked me today for an item worth nearly 40 mill. sp. (yeah, bro... nothing changed...)

And most of his prizes a crap now even when he is asleep.

Yep, because he is the weekend quest at the moment.

- I try to keep records when I do quests and even when Carl isn't a special weekend quest, I normally earn between 250k and 450k. I will agree that his sleeping prizes are pretty crappy. I get better things when he's awake.

I think it depends on what he´s asking for. He asks me regularly for items worth 60k+ sp and often for items worth 100k+ (at least 2-3 times each day). My payouts aren´t as good as yours. Sometimes I don´t make sp from him. I do his quests anyway because of the quest points.

Carl is ...yes. The last weeks his quests were actually not so bad for me.

I started to take every time the item from the NPC shop if it's available. On a long term you earn more sP during the quests. Not quite sure how it is linked but probably you give it a try. ;D

Okay I won´t complain about his prizes anymore. Got a today. It made up his not so nice times XD

today he asked me for a 45 mil item. thanks carl. :/

I haven't really had any problems with him, I have waaaay more luck with him than with Cinthia, that girl hates me.
