I've been on kind of a long hiatus, but last I was here I remember whenever you went on someone WL, it would have this super helpful little note if you owned that particular item. It made scoping out people's WL for gifting/selling purposes about a million times easier.

Is there a reason this has been removed? Or is it somewhere else now and I just can't find it?

I was wondering this myself, made mooching through the 'Wanted' forum so much easier. Now I mostly can't be bothered. It was really nice as there's god knows what stashed in my vault and wardrobe that hasn't seen the light of day in years that other people might actually want and I don't even realise I have it :v

If I had to guess, I'd say it was taken away due to it causing lag issues. I think that at first it automatically told you if you had the item, then there was like a button to push to display what items you owned, but now it's just not there at all. I too would like at least that button back!!

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if that was the case. If someone has an absolutely monstrous WL, running the account search for every individual item there every time the page is opened, it sounds like a big mess to me.

The achievements page uses a similar thing with the "show required items" button. Don't know if that is in our favour or not though as the achievements page is kinda laggy sometimes, but it that feature seems to be working just fine for me right now. But then again a "show items you own" button on wishlists would get a heck of a lot more constant use (especially now), and subsequently more lag. I'll agree, it would be pretty awesome to have back though c:

has the run of it, basically. There was a strain running all that account searching automatically, especially if you had somebody with a hell of a wishlist or if you had a hell of a horde (or both).

In regards to the achievements that have similar functions, I believe that only has to process the function when you select "show items", and furthermore, that tends to be WAY less running all through one page than wishlists, especially during Luminaire time.

i hope too that this little help button come back, was so easy to grab if some friend need and i have now we have to use the search function first and go a longer way to take what we have.
