is Cinthia confusing to everyone too?
Mainly this line bothers me:
No, I don't think there's anything off with a rabbit wearing a dress. But calling it Mr. Buns when it's wearing a dress & has a bow in its hair is a little weird to me. Shouldn't it then be Ms. Buns?
Mr. Buns is free to live whatever life style he wants.
I mean it could be a typo lol Who knows
Mr Buns wanted to have a dress suitable for Cinthia's tea parties.
If you disagree with his life choices, he will meet you in the pit.
Yeah I know its just a toy, but for me it seems off. Everything about Cinthia is girly (and dressed girly). Calling a rabbit in a dress Mr., even if it is just for pretend, just seems weird. I've dealt with a lot of kids, both in teaching and in babysitting, and while I've been to lots and lots of tea parties with stuffed toys, I've heard a kid call an animal in a dress Mr. Normally the boy animals get little hats or, as my little cousin says, "he goes nakie". IDK maybe its just me but I keep looking at it like its a typo, like they forgot the "s"
I have a stuffed koala that I got in 3rd grade, that I named Karen. He's wearing suspenders and everything, he's very clearly a male koala.
Kids name their stuffed animals what they want, gender identity doesn't often matter to them.
I think it's cute - I never really noticed it before :) That's a very realistic touch.
I have a large family, within which are many little girls who name each and every one of their beloved stuffies. All of them have at least one stuffed animal that has a name like that. The littlest one has a precious stuffed pink horse covered in bows and hearts that's almost as big as she is, and his name is Bill. Doesn't really strike me as odd at all that Cinthia's dress wearing bun friend is Mr. Bun.
" Okay, so you’ve made some bad decisions. You’ve hurt people. You’ve hurt yourself. You’ve stumbled through life from one self-inflicted disaster to the next without anything even approaching a plan. To which I say: welcome aboard. Maybe you’re not good... but you’re sure as hell good enough. "
