I think I will be going to Japan these holidays. I need to fill up an itinerary for four or five days. So far on my list I have -Tokyo Disney -Shibuya Crossing -Studio Ghibli Museum (I'm not even sure if this is in the Tokyo area)

Does anyone have recommendations of places to visit or things to do in Japan? I would love to capture some great scenery on camera but I'm not sure where to go O_O

Gosh. Where do I start?

First, are you going to stick to Tokyo or explore other areas of Japan? How long do you have? What interests do you have? I.E food, history, places of beauty, shopping, culture, gaming, etc.

If you're interested in catching lovely scenes on the camera I would recommend visiting some Japanese shrines. They are very interesting from a cultural, historical and religious point of view and are often very nicely decorated. Sometimes there are rules on photography, so do be wary. In particular the Fushimi Inari shrine is probably one of the most famous, known for it's 'red corridor' of torii gates. If you do go to the tourist shrines do get there early as it can be extremely crowded.
