So when did the Avalanche Emporium go back to restocking like a regular shop? Last Luminaire, wasn't the stock was constant, but you could buy a set amount at certain intervals?
If I'm remember correctly, does anyone know why it changed this year?
We had that snowballfihgt last year, remember? To make it easier to participate the normal restocking shop was turned to an infinite amount of stocked items shop :) So I guess they just put it back the way it was before because we don't need that much snowballs now?
in various News threads and Feedback threads and others, many users have asked why the Snowtapult wasn't open. IIRC Staff responded they were going to change it around this year to make it more fun and to avoid site crashes and massive autopurchases.
In previous years with the old restock system this would've resulted in quite expensive to fling a snowball until the season is over.
I've seen it restock many times, and during the ones I've caught there's a lot of snowballs there so I've been able to snag three to five at any one time. Like other shops, there's a five second delay in between purchases. I've been immediately flinging them and my Achievement count has gone up by 17. This year the Snowtapult will be open longer, so IMO by March there'll be plenty available and the price will have crashed.
Snowballs were also Holiday rarity last year, which means you could get shitloads of crystals at the Fragmentizer for next to nothing, and staff didn't want that to happen.
- That makes complete sense! Thanks!
