I could have sworn Saggitarius used to give items in addition to SP as quest rewards, but now he's not? Or am I wrong about him giving items before and just thinking of other quest givers?

Saggi very very briefly gave out items a few months ago. This was pretty exceptional. You may have joined Subeta just when that was happening.

Ahh I've actually been here for years, I've only very rarely done his quests. I think the last time I did them was during the time you mentioned. So I guess that's why I was confused.

:) heh, silly me! I normally didn't do Saggi and did the quests for Achievement years and years ago at a loss. I only started doing him again when he started giving out items.
