Hey so it looks like I need to feed my pets, but I don't know how to find cheap food items. I'm still pretty new, so I don't want to spend a lot when I could feed them for less. I know I found one item for like 88sP, but I can't remember what it was...

Also it looks like my pets are unhappy, how do I fix that?

You can get free food from Charity in Riverside if you have a certain number of points. I don't know where the cut off is.

You can buy food items in the Main Shops as well as area shops. Try choosing some and going to user shops. Users will usually sell it for cheaper.

To get quick points, play games. My personal favorites are Matlal's Jewels and Cybill Sledding. Also, try Wizard Quests. The items he asks for are inexpensive and he gives good pay outs and Wizard Tokens, which you can buy items from the Token Shop and get lot's of points or you can sell them and get a good amount of points.

Also, to make your pets happy, you can read books and play with them. You can shop those shops Main Shops and area shops as well

If you check your pets into the Resort in Veta Lake, they'll stay fed and happy without you having to feed or play with them c:

The Resort is the cheapest solution for both issues. If you give your pets a Minion this will make them happy and some Minions are inexpensive and they don't get used up. Toys, and some plushies still, and beanbags can also be played with, but this is not the cheap method.

in my experience, the cheapest food items can be found in the bake stop - many of them cost between 400 and 500 sP. that said, the resort is probably your best option.
