I've been struggling to get work for the last 6 months. After this long gap of unemployment, working with other people in person is becoming less appealing. I'm great at customer service, but my social anxiety gets the best of me a lot of times, especially since I'm in a major city. I'm also desiring autonomy with my job... I hate micromanagers.
I haven't looked at work from home jobs, because I've received emails that "offered" these sorts of jobs, but they were clearly scams. But, I do know legit jobs do exist. I just don't know what I can even do from what I've seen so far.
I have bad anxiety over the phone, so I can't do a job that involves constant phone calls. I only speak English. I'm learning graphic design, but I'm only a beginner. I can't afford anything with a start up fee, fees for equipment, or registering for something. I guess my writing is decent? I'm not a nurse nor have any experience in the medical field. I have experience with data entry, but it bores me to tears.
Does anyone work at home or has any idea on what I should look for?
Medical billing and coding is a great stay at home job with a very bright future. And it pays well. I believe you need to have a degree or something but you could certainly take classes online.
- Oh yeah, I have heard of medical billing and coding. The schooling for it isn't bad either. But, it's something I know I would be miserable at, despite me being good at it. I had a data entry job before, and I couldn't stand it after a while.
The working at home aspect would make the job infinitely better, but it's still something I would rather not do. It is a good last resort career though.
Yeah, I feel the sameway. I would be a nice, steady job/career but I'm used to being constantly on the go. I also wouldn't be able to do any work at home because I get drawn into tv, reading, and playing on subeta too easily LOL.
That's the only at home job I can think of besides writer/ person who does artsy things. Good luck. Have you tried a google search? Google has the answer to everything
