Maybe as colorfill, new color or as a repose which is an idea from : A recolor of sweetheart pets. Replacing candy/and horns of some pets with Candy Canes.

Total support! I know we kinda have the glacier color for luminaire but something more specific and christmas-y would be awesome. :D

it could be cute, though i don't think it would work as a color fill - those generally don't have any special patterns, with the exception of nuclear. if it were done, i think it'd make more sense as a re-pose, and even then it might me too similar to sweetheart, being kind of pink and candy-themed and all. but it could be really cute. maybe it could be done as a recolor of sweetheart (just, with the candy replaced with candy canes)? i like the idea of horned pets having horns that look like they're made of candy canes :P

Not as a colorfill, because we already have Arid, which is white with pink accents, and Dawn in the light pink department.

The only way I can see this happening is if they did a recolor of sweetheart pets.

A recolour of sweetheart pets would be interesting, but now are we getting too many like.. pairs of colours? eg. blacklight and spectrum, harvest and glade..

I understand other colours are already paired (erm.. reborn and glacier), but does every repose have to have a corresponding recolour? idk.

Would prefer it to be a repose rather than a recolour, even though it would work as one.. maybe I'm just eager for another repose colour as opposed to the recolours we've been getting (harvest, cherry, silver).

The reason some things are basically recolors is because they're practically the same thing. Blacklight is literally the raver version of the spectrum pet. Harvest and glade are both plant-based; foliage, flora, fungi, and even insects. But they are basically the same thing, just slightly altered.

Paired colors is not the same. Although glacier and reborn are a "pair", you wouldn't look at glacier and go "ah, yes, fire." Reborn is the opposite of glacier. Not 'slightly different but ultimately the same.' A recolor of one would be blue fire/color scheme done over a reborn pet, to represent Hades. Or a purple version of a glacier pet for whatever reason.

Cherry and silver are base color fills. They aren't recolors of a specialty color like glade/harvest. They don't have props or a unique quality to them that would make doing a repose of them interesting. They are a set color scheme done in the basic pose to broaden the pets' usage. Not every color idea or color scheme suggestion can or should be a repose.

Peppermint is a candy. Sweetheart pets are candy based pets. They have props, or limbs, or pieces that are candy. Food. Doing a brand new repose of it would be redundant and probably confuse people.

It's like going "I want a cat based pet with little wings and horns, but not the feli. I want it to look like the feli, but I don't want it to be the feli." Whereas a repose is more like going "I want a jellyfish pet because we don't have one."

I wanted this the moment I saw the Bhakoru plushie. But even though I support it I think it's less likely to become a thing, because of Sweetheart.

Hey Great Minds think alike!! I thought of this idea as well. Someone else was suggesting a gingerbread color and I thought Peppermint could be a neat holiday exclusive variation on sweetheart:

At first I was going to say "why don't you make your sweetheart pet a custom overlay"?

.. but I guess since Subeta came up with Harvest as a custom "recolor" of Glade, why not? (Well, I wish they would come out with more Harvest ones before putting out new colors but that's up to Subeta.)

the only reason I would hesitate to support this is because of shortage in art staff/what the art staff can put in, but that's up to the art staff to decide.

I'm all for this, those plushies are too cute that I'd love to have a full sized pet version xD

Yes please ;^; I like the idea of making it a recolor of Sweetheart, maybe in time for next year's Luminaire so there are more Sweetheart pets available to choose from and we could potentially get a different new color in between (and more Harvest pets! Harvester pls)

YES. I would make a Peppermint Sheeta in a heartbeat if it was in the same pose as the plush. <3

Not to mention the and others that came out a year or so ago. They could even mimic the identical plushie poses!

I'd also love to see an exclusive chibi peppermint colour, too. If a peppermint colour did come out and you wanted the chibi version, you'd have to have your pet already chibi. If your pet is a chibi it would not revert them back to adult pet. The chibi pose could potentially change, too, if the chibi peppermint poses are different (which would make for a super cute new twist to chibi pets!)

You could say "do an overlay" for any pet. If that was the case, all there would ever need to be would be the common pets and nothing else. Not saying what I am to be rude either but stating a fact. The joy of a pet site is coming up with new colours.

I agree it would probably be too similar to Sweetheart.

With that said, it does sound like it could be pretty cute.
