Hallo, I love hearing about peoples various pets and such, so what pets do you have? I have a lot myself (takes up several hours a day to care for them...) I have two rats, Skitty and Aroura. Skitty has a harness and gets to go to the pet stores with me sometimes. She's very chill for a female and is happy to chill in my hair while I take care of household stuff. In addition to the rats, I have three guinea pigs: Cheese, Sammich, and Nougat. All three are rescues, and all three are just about a year old, so they will be around for quite a while longer. Cheese is super timid, and I am the only person she'll relax around. Sammich and Nougat love any and all attention. I only have one reptile - and Mississippi map turtle named Ghandi because he won't eat anything live and never fought back when the pet store turtles would beat up on him. When I got him his skull was visible from being beat up on. I have two cats - a black ex-feral female named Thunder and a white rescue named Seibold (pronounced Zee-bolt). I found Thunder eating my garbage in 2012 when she was only six months old and started feeding her. It didn't take long for her to warm up to me. She remained a stray until the fall when she was hit by a car. Financially I was not in a situation to take her to a vet, and no vets in the area did charity work, so I brought her in and nursed her, hoping she would make it. She did, and never went back outside after that, despite her insane ways. Seriously, she's sleeping in a box of timothy hay right now... I got Seibold this past winter when I saw him and he literally wouldn't let me go. I also have two dogs, a twelve year old corgi-dachshund mix named Kechara and a two year old corgi-akita-border collie (best guess) mix named Emiko. I got Kechara when she was one year old and I was 14. She was my first dog, and has been with me through a lot. I always wanted to do agility with her, but I found out shortly after I adopted her that she had dysplatic hips, and made the decision not to stress her joints further. Instead, she learned stupid dog tricks, like sneezing on command. I got Emiko last fall at six months old. She is a working class dog with tons of energy and intelligence. She starts competing next year in obedience, freestyle, and agility. I only want to get her her CD as far as obedience - it's to formal for my tastes. We may go ahead and try out rally obedience- that seems more fun.
Oh your pets seem fantastic but yes it does seem like a lot to do! :D We have 5 pets in my house so we've got a mini-zoo as well! We have Molly who is a ball python. She is my boyfriend's snake. He's had her for 4 years. She's about 4 feet long now. We've never had he sexed but from what we've been told about how to sex them we're pretty positive she's female. She doesn't do much and only needs to be fed once a month so she's pretty easy to take care of. She's super curious for a snake though she's constantly checking out her surroundings. All the other animals are so curious about her and will watch her slither around. We have 2 male bob-tailed kittens. I got them recently from my aunt when we moved to Mississippi. They're a handful and totally named appropriately. The grey tabby who is a mess is name Loki and he serves his name right and the other is Stark and he's more of a swirled black, white, and gray pattern. They're both trouble makers. They are about 4 or 5 months old now I believe. I'm terrible with time. Still very much babies! Then we have 2 dogs. The older one is Roscoe. He's a 2 year old dachshund/jack russell mix and he's a complete handful. He does NOT like people and he let's them know it. He only likes a select few people and it's a catch 22 if he'll like them or not. He tries to be alpha with everyone and has a bad temper! >< But he's a love at the same time. The other is a 5 month old German Shepard puppy that we got when we moved into the house we're in. Getting her was a mess! The kennel that we adopted her from was 3 hours away so she had to be driven 3 hours here and she was so little and so scared afterwards! Now she's a crazy, happy, jumpy, big lap dog. She also gives the grumpy 2 year old a run for his money! :p
Currently I only have my basilisk lizard, Felipe, who runs all over the place knocking over plants with his tail all the time, and my cat, Da Shou, but I plan on getting a dog at some point when I am done with graduate school who I want to name after one of the brothers from Brother Bear.

How old is your turtle? I have a thee or four year old red eared slider I got from a swap meet. :P His name's Benji. Benji
I also have a cat, Vincent. I don't like cats, but I found him at work when he was a kitten. Now he thinks I'm his mommy, and he's the oddest most hilarious little animal I've ever known. Vinny

I have a hairless Siamese cat named Ptolemy, a leopard gecko named Steve Harris, and a leatherback bearded dragon named Cassiopeia, or Cassio for short.
My hairless cat is basically the most mellow animal I've ever known, and he likes to sleep with me UNDER the blankets which seemed totally weird for a cat at first.

I have a Ragdoll (cat) named Dexter. He is the most lovable cat in the entire world!! You could literally walk around the house with him wrapped around your neck and he would just be chilling there. :) Haha. He's now 12 years old which is making me sad because I don't want that time to ever come. I know in my heart I will never find a cat that was as lovable as he is.
I also have a Jack Russell Terrier named Daisy. She's not your average crazy Jack Russell. She's very mellow and loves to sun bathe. Of course she loves to play ball! :) She just turned 7 years old.
i have a 5 year old ginger and white cat named Whiskey - i sure like my alcohol anywhere and in any form XDD lmao - this is him. My flat mate found him when he was a kitten in fron of her mom's building, FULL of fleas, with an eye infection or something, and i think it took him about 1 week to recover from blood loss [sucked by the fleas] and then some more time of caring to have his eyes fully clear of whatever there was going on.
Then, there is Mickey, a 4 year old gray tabby [and white belly] cat. He was brought as a play buddy for Whiskey, from the sea side.. he was the baby kitten of the hotel's mascot cat [it was a pet-friendly hotel, and their cat had a litter sometime we went there]. Mickey likes to sleep on me, on my pillow, to groom me and to bully his older brother.
Then, there is Ciel, a hooded crow [this was during the molting season, hence his appearance is not great]. This little fellow fell out of his nest last year in spring. it was a cold rainy day, and he didn't have all his feathers yet. he still had blue eyes when we found him, and would have died if we didn't do something. [i still feel like crying when thinking about that night]. We were supposed to release him this summer, but we have a weak heart. we 'decided' to release him in spring or something, but i wonder if we'll have the power to do so. ;-;
I've got two cats, Holly and Emma. Holly is about 7 years old and is a brown tabby. Emma is about 4 years old and is a Russian Blue mix - she's all grey with white paws, a white belly/chest, and a white splash on her nose/forehead. They're both super smart kitties. Emma is more people-friendly than Holly. Emma loves her mama (me) more than anyone and sleeps with me every night. She snuggles (or wants to) any time I hold still for more than 5 minutes. Holly is more standoffish and wants attention on her own terms - she likes my mom to hold her. They're both my sweet babies and just a bit spoiled, lol.
Long story short, I moved to another city to study, so my family's pets stayed with my stepdad and mom, but as I've lived with those pets half my life, I still consider them mine. XD
I have a 14-year-old dog called Viivi whose mom was a German Shepherd, the father was probably a retriever of some kind. (She looks NOTHING like a German Shepherd.) She loves swimming and she's still a puppy at heart, always playing with toys. She's always been my companion on forest walks, and when I still lived with her, she would come sit on my foot and whine until we went on our daily 2-hour walk. She had her first mammary tumors at the age of 8, and has been on heart condition medication since the age of 12. She'll probably be put to sleep in the next few months, her hind legs give away very often and it's hard for her to get up... I'm coming to terms with it - I've spent some of the best times of my life with her, and I know I've done everything I can to make her happy. She's the best dog I could've ever wished for, the gentlest and most innocent soul I ever met. <3
Then there's the cat, who's simply called Kissi (which translates to Kitty). I think he's 8 or 9 years old by now? He lives in my stepdad's house in the countryside, so he spends time both outside and inside the house. He doesn't go far from home, though - a few times I tried to carry him further away and he just panicked and ran back home. He was quite solitary for the first few years of his life, but then suddenly he started to hang out with me when I read a book in my bed, and these days he even comes to sleep on my lap or under the blanket with me. He's always picking fights with the dog, lmao. He often "guards" the home, too. One time he drove away the neighbor dog who'd come to woo our Viivi! XD That was so much fun. The dog (who was like ten times bigger than the cat) ran away with his tail between his legs.
I'd really like some guinea pigs as soon as I can afford it. And when I have my own house, I'd also like some dogs and cats.
I have an 8 year old Goldendoodle named Gus :) He's an adorable curly floofywoof. When we first got him as a puppy, I happened to wind up in the hospital with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) the next day and almost died :o I sadly missed a lot of his puppyhood because I was in the hospital for about two months after that. He's the best, friendliest dog, he loves anyone and everyone who comes through our door. Unfortunately I only get to see him every other day because my parents got divorced and he lives with my mom :( he hardly eats on days I'm not there, it's really sad. But anyways yeah, he's super obedient, he won't even take food if you leave it on the floor XD one time my mom gave him a piece of hotdog, she showed it to him and left it on the floor then went to take a bath and when she got out he was still sitting there staring at it because he wasn't sure if he was allowed to have it! He's the best dog ever.
Signature cleared by staff.
You all have amazing sounding pets.
I have a bearded dragon named Humphrey, who is currently undergoing brumation, aka lizard hibernation. Aka being a lazy butt. But at least he is loved, haha.
I have a love bird named Buddy. He is the sweetest bird ever. He was adopted from my work place this summer and I love him very much. He was best friends with my hamster Sable (who is no longer with us), so I decided to get him some new friends (two dwarf hamsters, Toby and Basil). He's very interested in them :)
I have a dog named Buster who is turning 7 on the 23rd of this month i can't believe it! He is a black lab and is so cute. He can be crazy at times and also barks a whole lot but he is a very sweet happy dog who loves when I play with him. Oh and he sleeps most of the day. He also is always looking for trouble and can be quite oblivious at times lol it is funny.
I have a cat named Daisy who was born in September I think but she entered our family in October. She is so adorable and is very wild/playful but also can be very mean. She is usually at her nicest when she is ready to lay down and take a cat nap. I love her anyways.
I have a one year old, fawn with white markings, Chihuahua, named Elvyn. & a almost two year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Marvyn.
I have two dogs, Olive & Ziggy. Olive is a lil' black and white Doxie/Terrier mix. Ziggy is a tri-colored, medium-sized dog... not sure about his breeds at all. I am thinking possibly Australian Shepherd/Pointer? But his previous owner didn't know, so I am just guessing xD I also have a Tabby named "Mau". c:
I have a pair of cats. A cuddly 15 year old lady who likes to sleep on me, Kai Lin, and her 7 year old cross eyed oriental shorthair mix adopted sister, Mimi. Kai is a super sweet old woman who forgets where she is when she wanders from room to room but is otherwise in great health, and Mimi is a partly feral little monster who was rescued from an amusement park stock room as a kitten. They're both lovely girls.
" Okay, so you’ve made some bad decisions. You’ve hurt people. You’ve hurt yourself. You’ve stumbled through life from one self-inflicted disaster to the next without anything even approaching a plan. To which I say: welcome aboard. Maybe you’re not good... but you’re sure as hell good enough. "
I have a twelve-year-old tabby mix who will be thirteen in April. Her name is Neko-chan because I was young and uncreative so my cat literally does not have a name. lol
Pictures of the lil beastie; I made a pet after her. xD
We have four pets in our home, two cats and two dogs. The dogs are named Sunset and Honey. Sunset is really old, but often gets mistaken for a puppy(she's so small and hyper). And Honey looks really old, but is acutally the youngest pet in our household. They get along super well and are really good at hunting things and barking at intruders. They really love us, but get really protective around anyone else. Honey doesn't like men outside of our family. We really think her previous owners didn't treat her very nicely because she's afraid of brooms and really random things. Super sweet though. Our cats are the second oldest. Usa, my cat(pronounced Yusa), is really fluffy and is super beautiful. She didn't like me at first but now we are bffs and she follows me everywhere. I love her a bunch, because she'd always stay up late with me, whenever I'd be up working on projects for school. I also blame her for all the noises that go bump in the night, so I don't get scared. Our second cat is Troy, and he is super cute. He loves to cuddle and has the greenest eyes I've ever seen. He is totally in love with my brother, his owner, and sleeps on his chest every night. He has the tendency to jump on visitors laps and he loves apples(really random I know).
I have three dogs, one is a mix (Toby) and the other two are groenendael belgian shepherds (Lilith and Zorro) (which makes taking them for a walk really hard because people around here are so afraid of dogs, especially huge ones D:). Toby is like a cat wearing a dog costume, he's pretty lazy and love it when you pet him. Zorro is very sweet and always tries to sit on my lap even tough he's too big for that. He's also the most obedient of them. Lilith is the first dog i've seen that actually loves to eat vegetables, especially carrots. She has a lot of energy and is the youngest of them, since she has just 8 months and they're like 6 years old already. I love them so much and i plan on adopting more pets as soon as i can. :D
all of your pets sound so awesome :D it's great that you took them all in!
I have 1 dog, a Cardigan Corgi/Australian-Shepherd mix named Rez. I adopted him from a shelter. He looks almost like a purebred red Australian Shepherd with short legs. H likes to help foster kittens.
I have my own 3 cats, Kesey (kee-zee), who I found as a kitten hiding in a parking lot, under a car, all alone. My boyfriend and I decided to keep her. Shes a long haired, solid black cat, like a Turksih Angora. A couple weeks later we decided to get her a friend, from someone who was about to take kittens to a shelter. Thats how we got Thor and Amelia. Thor is my baby. I spoil him. Thor is solid gray, and Amelia is grey tabby/grey torti.
I also have 3 foster cats. Cindy, who is a little tuxie, got beat up, and ended up with an infected paw, so I took her in, got her paw healed, got her fixed and now i'm looking for a home for her. She cant be around other cats, sadly, because she's scared of them.
Then there is Harriet, a long haired white kitty with brown tabby spots, who I found with two other adult females, and two kittens, covered in urine, and all showing signs of URI. it was obvious theyd been living in a cage for a long time, with no litter boxes, food or water. I had Animal Control come get them, who ended up fixing and releasing Harriet, and her sister Molly (ill get to her in a bit) and keeping the mama kitty and babies. After a few weeks Harriet disappeared and I spent hours every day looking for her with no luck. then two weeks later, my neighbor tells me that other neighbors have gone on vacation and left their cat, who is crying to get out. So we the Apartment manager frees her, and it turns out to be Harriet, who ran into the apartment while the guy was packing to leave, without him noticing. She survived on toilet water and a box of cereal she ripped open. So I took her in to regulate her feeding, and she is too scared to go back out. I'm hoping I can find her a home with Hagrid.
Hagrid, a grey tuxie Maine Coon mix, was abandoned (I assumed by the same people who abandoned Harriet and the others) and my apartment manager took him in to be fixed as a feral cat. He didn't take to the anesthesia well, and was having seizures, not able to walk, and ended up temporarily blind. After emergency vet trips, and two weeks of love and healing he learned to walk again, regained most of his vision, and is now a happy, loving, fluffy giant. He is learning to go back out on his own, but I'm hoping to find him a forever home, with Harriet. They've bonded well and are such sweet loving babies.
I also have a Feral Colony I help take care of, most were abandoned and a few were actually born feral. Ty who is solid black, and Beanies, a grey tuxie, were born Feral. Beanies is friendly towards most people and Ty is very skittish. Ty hangs out on my patio during thunder storms. I think they scare her. Molly, who was abandoned with Harriet, is a grey torti. She is skittish, but extremely loving and playful! George is a big orange tabby. Friendly towards all! He even lets hyper little kids pet him. He was abandoned by the people who abandoned Hagrid. He comes in to drink toilet water and hang out in my bathroom. there a few "Drifters" who come around every once in a while, but only one isn't terribly shy, and thats Fluffy Brown Kitty, He's a cross-eyed Snowshoe/Ragdoll mix. Hes skittish but comes around for treats.
I also have two solid black cats that visit when I visit my mom and grandma, who I've named Dusty and Cas.
I'm a cat lady.
