I can't remember. Are there random events on subeta that change the color of your pet? I'm sure they would be excessively rare events, but I'm kind of terrified to keep my active pet as anything other than my experiment pet because I really don't want any of the expensive colors on my other pets changed. I know on other pet sites they do have rare random events that do this, and while I would love to have my Angelic pet as my active, I just feel really paranoid that I'll get hit with that one in a million random event that says "haha you're a chibi now" or something.

if you want a random color change, you have to zap your pet, or use Experimental Dew or something similar. Experiment is not a color, it is a species (most Experiments only come in two or three colors).

There are no random events that negatively affect your pet that you yourself do not trigger. If you want your pets to randomly be unhappy or starving all the sudden you have to have a tier six pet and a Malerias Clawed Glove. If you want your pets to lose stats you need to use leeches, or chance the zapper.

Okay phew, fabulous! I was aware that experiment pets are not 'colors'--the reason I was keeping my experiment pet as my active pet was because the only color experiments have are scribble, so if there was some kind of event that would cause a color change, it wouldn't affect him. Now that I can feel reasonably assured that this isn't going to happen, I have put my angelic pet as my active. (=

It's been a while since I last got on subeta but I have been active since the beginning of the month because I had the advent calendar on my mind since last year when I messed up and didn't manage to get all 31 days. THIS YEAR I SHALL HAVE THE ACHIEVEMENT.

I have been frequenting subetalodge for tips on cheap books and stuff to read to pets to get them good jobs C= I am SO DETERMINED to visit the advent calendar for every day this year. There was a background for 31 days? Man, I am trying to collect the fairies for the secret luminaire theme.

I know enough about subeta to do fairly well, but I'm still a bit dull on things like this and how random events here work. Seriously I'm so glad there aren't random color changes. It really does drive me up a wall with anxiety. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about it. Other changes such as health damage or stat changing? No problem. Colors, oh no, I worked too hard to get those colors!

Well, there is one random event that can "influence" your pets species: it's a group of bumbii that tell you to visit their queen and that one will tell you to complete a quest for her to change one of your pets into a bumbus. This quest doesn't have a timer and it occurs regularly... so no time to rush if you ever decide to get a bumbus. ;)

I just checked: last year was a foreground (Frosty Crystal Vial) the years before we had the Festive Luminaire Candle (2013) and in 2012 the Chilling Snowy Scene as bgs

Oh wow those sound wonderful. I'll definitely look forward to getting something like that then if they have a 31 day one this year. I don't see why they wouldn't since they did other years...I'll be hopeful.

I'm glad that the bumbus one is optional; I'm just not fond of bees. I have actually had the bumbii tell me to visit their queen already! I learned about that whole thing back in the day and was like "eh no thanks" Lol. Thanks for the information though C= I appreciate it. Really glad Subeta gives options rather than forcing catastrophic changes like color.

Ha. The only catastrophic random event is Sebastian Phoenix, collecting taxes from your on-hand sP, but there is an achievement for losing money on him as well :D

I am aware of that achievement; I tend to keep my points in the bank unless I need to buy something because of him to be honest! I've already avoided him once. He was like IT'S TAX TI--you have no money. Um...bye then. It was pretty funny! I heard about the one guy having like millions taxed from his account and was like I can't afford this lol into the bank everything goes unless needed.

Anyway thank you for the random event information, this really does help me feel less anxiety on subeta. Of all the pet sites I've been on this is definitely my favorite one. I keep promoting it to friends but only a few of them even really completed the signup process and stayed and even then they only did it for a little while. Alas. I love it here, even if I only chime in every few months.
