How much time does one need to actually wait to buy another box of ornaments from Melody?

Melody's pretty snickety on the time of this, too. I use a Carnival game as a timer, those go off in 12 minute intervals instead of using two scratchcards of five minutes. If you take longer than the ten minutes you can have a separate tab open and all you have to do is refresh on it.

That's actually a good idea, I'll have to remember that next time I go and buy a box from her.

you can even get really technical, and set a timer online or on your phone. i have an iphone and if i know i'm going to be on a long time and/or am looking for a certain ornament, i set a 10 minute timer in my clock app. i just press start on it right after clicking the button to get the box, and then continuously do that until i find the ornament i want / get offline. :3

Yeah I thought about a timer on my phone... it's just very very loud XD and sadly I cannot change the tone on it

ahh yeah. that could be a problem haha. well there's a couple online, but the first one that shows up in the google search has quite the annoying timer ding. but it could work for you too because that way you should be able to have the volume fairly low and still be able to hear it. just a thought!! the idea above with the carnival games is a great idea too, although most of those require wizard tokens if i'm not mistaken.

Mallarchy Pond only takes one wizard token to play, and that way you get carnival points too

that's true, although I usually have zero wizard tokens because I sell them all/give them away as lumi presents ;o

I just use a regular old manual kitchen timer. Its not too loud, but loud enough to hear if I step out of the room for a few minutes.

thanks for the reassurance xD a lot of people in my family and such think i spend way too much time on here, and i do too sometimes....got stuff down to a science. xD so i'm happy i'm not the only one who gets that invested in it to go as far as actually using a timer for that. :P
