Often times I have a very expensive item that I cannot sell and I really dislike having it sitting around in my shop or vault, wasting away when it may be one someone's wishlist somewhere. I love that I can search my account for items from someone's wishlist, but would it be possible to have a reserve-search feature underneath items after the search shop/search account buttons?

I could click on an item and see the last 20 people who added that item to their wishlist. Not EVERYONE because especially with newer items, that would be a lot of work for the system to seek out those wishlists and people. But by making it the most recent, we would be able to determine that that user is recently active - which increases the chance of the item we gift getting used. OR, we could make it a random 20 wishlists to make it easier on the search system?

Granted, I guess this could be abused with new items and people just wanting folks to gift them expensive things. But, I want to find items more homes without just posting on a forum and waiting for people to come around and tell me whether they'd like it.

So you want to search other people's WL? We already have that function. If you go to Wishlists and click "Search," it searches for the item on your friends' WL as well as other users. Not sure how it displays... like, I am not sure if it is by most recently added or whatnot. But it does show other users who have that item on their WL...

I don't think this needs to be added to hovers though.

You can use the SEARCH to lookup an item and see all the people that have it on their WL. Like, if I have an item that is hard to sell, I can just type it in the search and see who has it on their WL. That is what you wanted, right? If I understood correctly anyway. ^^;

Yeah this is definitely a feature we already have, I use it frequently when I want to get rid of items, I use the search to give them to people who have it wishlisted.
