Hello all!
The title says it all. Yep. I'll be cooking the Christmas dinner this year and even though I still have a couple weeks left I'm already starting to get a little stressed. I guess it can't be avoided when I'll have a list of things to do in a short period of time. I'm planning on baking my cookies the day before so that might help relieve some of the stress. However, I have to cook a ham and a turkey and I'm not looking forward to it. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner a couple years ago but it turned out only okay so that kinda haunts me. =P My grandmother-in-law intends to come over the day before to help and then just stay the night and I know it's my kitchen but I always seem to get intimidated when other people are cooking in it, whether it be with me or on their own. Well, I was wondering if anyone else will be in a similar situation. I'm sure there's at least one other person other than myself who is slightly dreading the day. I'll get time off work, which is nice, but if it turns out anything like Thanksgiving was this year I am in no way looking forward to it. Let's just say that we ended up going home early from the relatives house because my husband and his aunt got into an argument. Hooray for me! Not.
