Given that Maleria forces me out after some refreshes...should I be refreshing every minute, every five minutes, every ten minutes for optimal results? Does it restock at the same time in seconds as shops do? I have no idea what I'm doing, help...

You get kicked out if you refresh more than 3 times every either hour or half-hour (approximately) I don't remember which. Just check it a few times a day when you think of it, and hope you get lucky. It restocks completely randomly so there's no better strategy than that.

I honestly don't know how long the ban lasts, but no it's not something that just resets on the hour or something, just whenever the ban is up

If you refresh there once every 20-40 minutes, you should avoid the ban and catch a restock at least once. It just takes a lot of patience to find something there. Also be prepared to drop a lot of tokens at once on one item! Things in there can be pretty pricey. I think the most expensive thing is the Shinigami at 5000 tokens.

Also, if you do see an item in there, it's probably best to not think about it and just buy it as fast as possible, or someone else will. Even if it's not something you're particularly looking for, you can at least sell it for a nice sum. c:

It's just 100% luck. I placed a bhh (black heart hollow) bookmark on the right side of the page so I can click on it a few times daily. Got around 5-10 items in 4 years XD Don't expect too much and good luck!! ;)

As said before, IF there is an item - buy it immediately! There is only one copy of each item available.
