Hey there! I'm Riot, and I'm looking for some fun, casual role plays. I typically post anywhere from 4-20 paragraphs, and I'm sorry in advance if I write you a book. Sometimes I just get inspired. I don't necessarily expect you to write that much. Just give me a couple of good paragraphs that I can work with, and we should be able to have a ton of fun!
On that note, I'm looking for someone who has a decent understanding of the written English language. Of course I understand mistakes and writer's block. We all have issues from time to time, and I won't hold it against you; and ask the same if you. However, please tell me if your going to be inactive for any unusual length of time or if you're fighting your muse. Communication is key.
I'm on almost daily, and will reply accordingly. I know you all have lives outside of the internet, and perhaps you can't reply that often. Just give me a general idea of how active you are, and we should be good. Please let me know in advance if you have any limits which mine (listed below) exceed. I'm fine with toning things down if you are uncomfortable with them. Again, I ask that you be respectful of my limits as well.
Now, with that out of the way, I've got a couple of plots; but let's cover the basics first.
YES: Action/adventure Plots Plot twists Built-up romance (no insta-romance) MxF (I'm comfortable with either gender) Pg-15 (fade to black) Supernatural (genre, not show) Dark Violence Fantasy Modern or futuristic (ask about past) Communication!
MAYBE: Animals (no warriors, sorry) Limited sci-fi Swearing is a-okay, but I will only do it as it fits my character. (I'll probably think of more)
NO: Fandoms School setting (I was homeschooled, so I don't know how it works and it's just awkward for me) MxM or FxF Bedroom scenes (fade to black)
Now, onto the plots!
Bitten
I never thought I'd actually get caught up in something so awful. I wasn't referring to the incident at the bar. Those things happen; and, eventually, you move on with your life. No, I was talking about something much worse. I'll probably never recover from the bite.
Plot: character A gets caught up in some nasty business at a bar, and character B saves them from it. Unable to get an address or relative's number from character A (maybe they are in a panic. Maybe they are wounded or unconscious?), character B takes them home to sleep it off. It would have been fine had the monsters kept quiet like they had for weeks. Character B is a supernatural hunter, and of all nights, now the creatures of night decide to stir once more. Character A awakens to find character B dueling it out with a creature who has come to kill them. Character B eventually exterminates the being, but not before character A is bitten. Will character B end them now that their fate has been decided, even though they just saved them; or will they let character A live and help them through the changes that are sure to come?
Extra: can be romance or not. You can choose character A or B, I'm good with either. If you choose character A, you can decide what bit them. Either character can be either gender.

Bump in the Night
I always thought teddy bears were just some stuffing and fabric and thread. Little did I know they kept the monsters away at night. They thought they were only supposed to protect children, the monsters didn't seem to interested in adults...so why do the nightmares chase me?
Plot: Character A is a normal young adult, living in the modern world, dealing with everyday life, and an almost constant pain in their back which doctors can't explain. It's ignorable for the most part, so they continue with their life. Their insert relative here passes away and only leaves them an old, stuffed toy as their inheritance. They take it home, rather disgruntled that it was all she left to them. Little did they know, said stuffed toy is only one of character B's forms. The other is a warrior who wears armor that matches the stuffed animal they once were, and keeps away the creatures of the night while their charge sleeps. character A was never supposed to wake up while character B fights of the monsters under the bed, but they did. Character A suddenly finds themselves tossed into a world where nightmares are real. Character B has to explain everything, and character A has to find a way to accept it or go completely mad.
Extra: this could go several ways. 1: Both characters get brought into the realm where the monsters dwell, and have to help each other escape. They eventually find out that there is a 'prophecy' about shutting the gates between this realm and earth forever, and character A is the key to fulfilling that prophecy (with character B's help of course)
2: both characters get brought into the realm where the monsters dwell, and have to help each other escape. In doing so they discover that character A is monster royalty, which is why they have haunted them even past childhood. Character B must then decide to either leave character A to their fate, or to help their friend escape it.
Romance preferred, but could be platonic.

Rise to Chaos
Some college girls perform a seance just for some fun one night. They didn't know how ancient and powerful the magic they had gotten hold of was. The one who cited the incantation (character A), unknowingly opened the gates of hell and summoned Lucifer as her servant in exchange for her soul. She wakes up the next morning to find the demon in her room, ready to grant her every whim. One small problem though. Because she had no idea what she was doing, something went wrong with the spell- perhaps she spoke a syllable wrong, or simply didn't have enough power to cast it completely; and Lucifer has no memory of who he is other than a demon. Havoc ensues now that the gates have opened, and the girl tries to fix her mistake by employing her new demon slave to defeat whatever creatures arise from the underworld. Because he has no memory, Lucifer can not but obey, and he begins to slowly but surely destroy his own kingdom. Will there even be a hell to return to when he harvests her soul, or will he exchange his kingdom for their contract?
Extra: Romance or not. I would prefer to play the devil, but I can play the girl if need be.

Reanimated
The dead are sold to the living. Not just any dead. Society still respects those who were respected. If you had a family, or friends, or anyone who cared about you, you could expect a proper burial. A passing where you wouldn't wake up on this earth again; with flowers and mourning and maybe food if your loved ones were into entertaining at a funeral. Yes, those who were cared for could expect the same treatment even after they were gone.
However, if you died alone, forgotten by the world, you can expect to wake up once more. But you won't remember a thing. Your body was sold- auctioned off to the highest bidder. Men of wealth and status came from all corners of the country, neigh, even the globe for a chance to win the prize of your corpse- for a price, naturally. A high price. Why they took interest in you varied greatly. If you were strong, perhaps they wanted a body guard. If you were attractive, maybe they were looking for company that was a bit more...friendly. If you were fast- an errand boy, if you were average- a slave. Or any other myriad of reasons.
Once the auction gavel was hammered, there was no turning back. No second-guessing. No refunds. You were now bound with your new owner. By way of a process which the seller's strictly kept secret, your body was reanimated. Of course you weren't there; you had moved on. You were now your owner's servant- slave really. You were loyal only to them, and you did their bidding- whatever that might entail. Eventually something bigger and better, shinier and newer that you will come along, and your body will die again. Only for the process to be repeated- often on a lower scale. Say you were once a billionaire's manservant; next you will probably be an average joe's cook; and after that, a thug's plaything. At any rate, as your body is sold and bought and resold, it will begin to shut down. A corpse without a soul can only last for so long after all.
Once you have simply run out of energy, you will be destroyed. Forgotten forever. But it's not a problem for you. After all, that body is no longer yours. You had moved on long ago.
Plot: Character A bought character B in an auction. It could be a first, second, or third auction for character B. There's just one problem. When character B is reanimated, they remember everything about their previous life (even the other auctions if applicable). Maybe not all at once, but there is definitely consciousness where there shouldn't be. So, was it just the effects of a flaw in the process? The memories just a remnant of the soul that was once there? Or did character B never fully pass on. Perhaps they were only mistaken as dead when the first reanimation process took effect. Time will only tell.
Extra: can be romance or not. I can play either character.

More to come!
Open to suggestions, and I love to plot!
If you're interested, post here, Smail, or comment me!
I'm very interested in a roleplay with you! I'd have to warn you in advance that I'm less active than you might be. The amount of replies depends every week so one time it might be every day, but don't hate me if it's only about 3 times a week. However, I do like to write a few paragraphs and am very excited about what you have to offer, so I hope the late replies aren't a problem. I won't suddenly drop out of a roleplay without explaining why in advance.
Your plot "bump in the night" seems very interesting to me, especially the first course the story can take. I have done a few romantic roleplays in the past where the romance was quite a big part and though I don't mind it, I wouldn't like it to be too big of a part of the story. That being said, I hope you're still interested in roleplaying with me :)
I assure you, your reply time won't be an issue at all. I would love to roleplay 'bump in the night' with you! I do enjoy a bit of rance, but I'm certainly not going to force it on you or the characters. Sometimes things just don't click that way, and I prefer to leave such fates up to the roleplay. So no worries there! We can always talk about it as things progress with the story as well.
Was there a specific character you wanted? I have a premade character A for this plot, but I'm completely fine playing character B as well. I don't mind playing either one, so if you have a preference, be all means, please let me know.
OOo, "Bump in the night looks very interesting indeed! Then again, so do Bitten and Reanimated! Either of those are very much fine with me. I'm good all day except 5 AM-3 or 4PM. Lemme know if you're interested
I'm so tempted by "Bump in the Night" as well, but, I might resonate with character A too much. Also, I'm rather assuming you have already filled that role. If you decide to make it a group RP based on interest, please ping me? I'd be interested in playing a side character (maybe one of the monsters?) and seeing how that story develops.
They/Themhello there! :] you have a very wide array of supernatural roleplay plots going on here and I absolutely love them all! I'm very interested in partaking in either Bitten or Reanimated. they seem the most interesting to me and I figured you wouldn't want to keep doing Bump in the Night. haha! if you're still interested in roleplaying, I'd love to do either of those choices with you. I will warn you, I'm just finishing up with school this semester, so I might be slow to respond, but as soon as I'm finished, I'll be much quicker about it. :] if that doesn't bother you, then I think we can work something out. I hope to hear from you soon! :]

If you are still looking for partners I am so in need of a good rp fix and love your plots. Rise to chaos and bitten sound like they could be so golden and go a million different directions and I love them. If not I understand ;) hope you find some good partners either way.
Also quick insight, I'm on pretty much every day at some point and my writing varies anywhere from a few paragraphs to an entire theatrical novel depending on the inspiration that strikes me. I love to have fun with roleplays and make friends with my partners, bounce stuff back and forth and if the mood strikes, commiserate about life XD
We shall rise as we fall
I don't know if you're still looking for partners but I'm really new to this site! I have been writing for years now, and can usually mirror, or close to in the case of extremely long posts. I am normally on every day, although I will usually let my partners know when I'm not going to be on for a while, which is usually only a day or two!
