I've been gone for a WHILE.... what happened to being able to collect bank interest? =(

Bank interest got removed The wardrobe is still in development, and it's supposedly better than the beta wardrobe (which I think got scrapped). It's now called the "V3 Wardrobe"

Ahhh well that's crap =/ on both sides..

I know the original wardrobe was glitchy... but now i can't even do ANYthing at ALL in my wardrobe. Least the last HA i created is still pretty..

The coding for the original wardrobe (and the beta, iirc) stopped being supported by browsers. It wasn't just a frivolous change, the old wardrobe is just not functional anymore and the V3 had to come out while still in testing because there wasn't another option.

It sucks that the bankinterest is gone. Why did they do that?

Well.. I have a lot of stuff in the wardrobe, wich made my wardrobe slow and sluggish. It gave a hell of a problem when I was changing clothing. So in the end, I hardly changed the clothing on my avatar eventhough I kept stuffing new clothing in the wardrobe.

That I'm not able to use it for a while on Firefox.. ahhh... well. it beats not being able to use the site at all. -grins- Old time user. Have had bigger issues with the site in the past. I know, by experience, that when their done it will be whole lot better then before.

They took out bank interest because there's no reason to have it. It was one of those things they brought over years ago based on other sites and it was pumping a lot of unneccessary sP into the system.

if people actually had money it brought plenty in, but honestly rewarding people for being able to save like that imo is not really a bad thing... You get rewarded with nice interest in real life banks for having lots of money in the bank, so why not here?

in RL the bank pays you this interest-money not because they're nice, but because they're using it to make more money. Subeta itself owns all the gamescrip and creates all the gamescrip and distributes all the gamescrip from now until copywright. They can do this as much or as little as TPTB please. They don't need to borrow any from the players, and their RL expenses can't be paid for in gamescrip.

Getting interest from Vault means you don't have to participate in the site in order to earn "your keep" you can just sit there. This is not in the game-interest of Subeta.

Vault interest is a dumb idea.
