Hi guys so I don't know if this has been suggested before and if it has I do apologize but I was brainstorming a bit for pets and came up with this. The option to display (or not display) certain pets. Here is where I would of liked this.

Positives:

• If a pet is currently under construction, not completely done. I can't tell you how many times people have asked if I was doing something with a certain pet name while it was still under construction. I even put on their page "under construction". If I choose instead to not display that pet on my profile page than nobody would know if I had that pet or not. -Currently I came back to Subeta after a break and realized I can't stand a few of my pets. Until I have the sp to change them/rename them I would of liked to not display them until I changed them. -If I only want to have focus on one pet or do work with one pet than I can choose to display said pet. -Can make profiles look cleaner if a user wants to display pets but has too many which results in continuous scrolling

Negatives:

• Takes away I guess from the "pet" aspect of Subeta
• Allows users to focus on one pet for pet spotlight to hope that pet gets nominated -Won't know how many pets a user has

I still would want the pet name to show up when searched so users can know if a name is taken or not. If the account is inactive than the option to use that pet name would still work.

• To fix the spotlight option there could be a certain amount of pets that can be not displayed or displayed at once.

Just a small idea I came up with, I didn't think about all the positives and negatives so feel free to add if you think I missed something.

- You can do this yourself by writing up your own HTML and dumping it in a blank section on your profile. I see people do this all the time, and even add custom icons and things.

I'm not quite sure if you want to hide pets completely or just on your profile? I personally don't really think hiding some pets on your profile is necessary because you can always remove the pet section and add the pets you want shown as a new section. (I have 20 pets total but only 6 are currently linked on my profile.) Hiding pets in certain areas like for training or the resort would be nice but I wouldn't want a pet to be hidden everywhere. I don't really understand why someone would want one of their pets to be hidden everywhere because when you can't even look at them it seems weird to me to own them I guess. It doesn't really take a lot for a pet to get nominated so I don't think it would be necessary to have only one pet shown to get it nominated. Plus you can just disable the spotlight for your other pets^^

As others have said, this isn't really necessary if your are just talking about the profile. I have seen many people who hide their pets completely until they are ready to show them or who only list a few. Mine are visually hidden and I just list their names.

This isn't super necessary, but also side note, people can already check how many pets you have/what their names are just by going to your battle stats page, so I don't think that has to do with anything.
