I loved this change, the ability to fragmentize holiday items, but I feel like something needs to change with snowballs. Avalanche Emporium will probably be opening soon and the snowballs can be bought for 250sp. They give 1 Humming Power Crystal each. This means that you can get large amounts of crystals for quite cheap. 30k crystals, which was the price of Shinwas Lightning, would only cost 7.5mil. The Universal Remotes(3k crystals) would only cost 750k.

Would Humming Power Crystals becoming really cheap be a good or bad thing? Anyone else also feel like something needs to change regarding snowballs?

I'm curious to know what's the plan for snowballs this year. Will there be another snowball fight? There were quite a few issues with how the snowballs were sold last year. Fun on the first day or two, but then just an exercise in autorefreshing later.

It's been many months since the holiday items were fraggable, and there were several months that non rare items gave a crystal each as well. To those who took advantage, it's great, but to savers it's possibly outrageous. Overall, it has arguably made crystals less valuable. There used to be some items buyable as little as 100 crystals years ago, but now they cost hundreds if not thousands. I think what's done is done, and the prices reflect that.

Tbh as much as I love that holiday items give 1 crystal (b/c I'm lazy and cheap), I think that's way too much. The whole point of holiday items being made frag-able was so that those items would have some sort of use and be cycled out of the system, rather than sitting in our accounts in massive hoards of worthless crap.

If the point is to get rid of way-too-common items, then make holiday items worth the same thing as regular Common rarity items or less.

Changing the rarity of the snowballs might help? As awesome as more crystals would be yes I see why it would indeed be a problem.

You're all assuming snowballs are coming in the same format this year, but if we don't have a Snowball fight, they won't. The reason why they were so cheap was just because of that event, which puts focus on the Snowtapult.

Considering how badly recieved the event went, I highly doubt it will come back and that the Avalanche shop is going to be changed to not allow us to buy 3858302048 snowballs very quickly.

That's true.

Although, the shop can actually still be accessed with the direct link to it right now. Snowballs can be bought at 250 sp and in groups of 25 if you have the link to the shop. Should a ticket be filed or something?

If you have a direct link to it and are using it when it's meant to be closed then you are abusing a glitch technically, Forget the direct link exists and we will all be just fine. It's always been that way but people aren't dumb enough to go poking where they shouldn't be poking.

Also if it was such a big deal then I guess they shouldn't of allowed holiday items to be fragged ever because look at morostide...Billions of pumpkins that can be fragged or even if you turn in the 1,000 to fantine you get a plethora of multiple copies of holiday things right back that you can frag. pretty sure snowballs will only be used at the snowtapult this year but if not they could always find other ways to make them useful so not as many get fragged so we don't have to listen to incessant bawing over an issue that really isn't that big of a deal in my opinion.

We won't be having snowballs in the exact format they were last year. We had them easy to buy for the snowball fight. If we use that type of shop again, there will be changes like no bulk buy and most likely more time between purchases.

(Also I've gone ahead and closed the shop :P)
