See, I don't really like having things on display only - that just means I didn't price them yet, and I feel it clogs up the shop for people browsing. So I'd like to be able to have them not display at all in my own shop, if that's not too much of a problem?
I support for the sole purpose of making it easier to navigate through my disgusting 34k items shop. (and stop killing browser loading)
If this were to happen, I'd rather it be optional because if I have a high priced item that I haven't gotten around to pricing and someone sees it in my shop, they may contact me to buy and if it isn't shown then I could have missed out on selling.

How would this affect galleries, which are basically just shops with no prices?
I would imagine they could make it an option in the 'edit shop' section, sorta like how we can display sales/profits, disable shop layouts etc
Fair enough. Just something to consider, I guess.
No support. It's against current known-to-users policy and is a solution in search of a problem.
I say this with a shop that's the 8th largest in all of Subeta, but it's been the policy of Subeta to not encourage largeshoppiness. One solution: put priced stuff in categories, or even in just one category "priced already". Alternate solution: open up a new shop instead and put your unpriced in there and when you're ready to price them move them over.
Shops have a search feature. If someone wants to buy something unpriced from you, all they have to do is Comment you. You price it they buy. Very few users browse through a shop as large as yours or ours, you're not losing much sales.
I wouldn't mind if this were implemented. I wouldn't use it, so it doesn't really affect me.
Putting this out there though: I very rarely browse through shops. The only reason I do is for items to frag, and I only go through a few pages and scan for items cheap enough. Having unpriced items doesn't really clog up a shop anymore than it is by higher priced items, for me.
How do you know where your shop falls in terms of size? Just from browsing around, or is there a stat somewhere that tells you this?
Also, how did you get your shop so large?
As for the suggestion, I'm on the fence, but leaning towards no. The only possible benefit I see is helping with lag, but after so many items, its broken up into multiple pages, so it's not that much of an issue.
