Hi suddenly my bookmarks at the right of the page that I use to jump to pages have become extra extra loooong.

This means they are useless as I have to scroll and scroll to go down the page to find each one rather than being the little useful tabs at the side as they were.

I don't think I changed anything apart from going on to windows 10 can anyone please tell me if this is happening to everyone and if not how do I fix it?

Does it happen on all your pages, or just certain ones?

For instance, on the forums or on inventory I know that mine are "normal" (though I have a tendency to forget to edit their names down, so "normal" for mine is still pretty long), but some pages generate incredibly long bookmark tabs on occasion.

These are the codes I use to tighten up my bookmarks (in addition to using really small words. acronyms and abbreviations. You can try changing the numbers, etc, to make it work for you. Oh, and you'll probably want to remove the part about background color. .bookmark {margin-bottom:-5px !important; Height: 35px; padding-top: 0px !important; background-color: ;} .bookmark a { font-size: 11px; }

thanks for replying both of you, the length of the bookmarks seem to be the same on all pages. I always keep the names very short so they should fit into a small tab no problem as they used to.

I'm afraid I have no idea where I should put the html or text that you offered me lypyl, I have never done anything like that before???

I just tried deleting a bookmark and remaking it and it didn't help. Its almost as if the pages have become massively long and although the info is all at the top the bookmarks just stretch down and down, each bookmark tab is about the length of the screen!?

It goes in customCSS tab under your preferences.

You didn't change anything, but changing your operating system can and does impact what codes work and what don't on the site.

Glad it worked for you :). I never had the stretchy problem you described, but I always thought the tabs were too big, so I've been using this code for years.
