So I didn't realise that Subeta clears petnames and usernames after a time of inactivity, and guess what happened to me!

This all happened about two months ago, and I've regained my bearings by now, but it still sucks haha.

I lost my pet "Spacetime". The new owner has given it a wonderful profile and TC, basically doing all the things I should have done for it and never got around to... and I know it's my own fault for being away for so long, but still... sigh. I miss that name.

I'm guessing there won't be too many people here in the same situation, either - as most of them are inactive! Anyone?

I went inactive back when Subeta deleted inactive accounts completely, so I lost an entire account. lol I thought that I'd never come back, so I was like, "Eh, who cares if it gets deleted." Now, here I am 5-ish years later, and I kinda still miss that account.

That sucks about your pet, but at least you still have an account to come back to. haha Hopefully you find another name that you like just as much! ^-^

The only time I was inactive was a period of months where there was a mess up with my password, so I've never experienced this.

There are periodic debates about the policy. I still remember the days when they used to completely delete accounts. I suppose this is better. While you might lose a lovely name, at least you still have the pet and whatever training, etc., you've put into it. And you get a free name change.

Or you could be like me and have names that no one covets...then even if you take another long break, you'll still have your names :).

I had lost an account from WAY way back. I think I was one of the first.. 100 or so people on Subeta. But due to a family dispute about schooling, I ended up having to stray away from the site. I miss the account something awful. Still wish I had it. I remember still having to send money via snail mail for cash shop items. XD But yeah, I lost so much stuff that I would give an arm and a leg for. But I've built up from it. (Although I would have gotten the names I really wanted then. XD)
