Professor Makshi said, her personality radiating among all the students, hopeuflly pumping them up for excitement as well. "First years, don't be shy. I promise that you'll have a great time this year. Older students, you'll make sure to make them feel right at home will you?" She gazed out upon the crowd, motioning toward the first years. "Female dorms are to the left, males to the right." She twirled around on the spot, and suddenly materialized a plate of cookies, putting them down on the nearby table. "I made these myself. They're gluten free and vegan friendly!" She sighed as she looked at all her new students. "I also got a new makeover this year, do you guys like it?"

Megan pokes her head up; "Oh yes, Professor. I do like your new look."

She quickly hides again, wondering what's got into her as she's usually not the talkative sort or one to bring attention to herself.

Gwen looks at the cookies, 'those look good,' she thinks, 'but I don't wanna be the first one to take one.'

"Professor you look lovely"

Gwen moves a little closer to Megan and then puts her head back in her book.

'that was a good first step to getting closer to people Gwen' - she thinks to herself.

"You look lovely, professor," said Cardamom with a wink and wide grin. She had already chucked her things in the seventh year dorm area, wondering just what she was going to do with herself since it was her final year. At least there were cookies to distract her from the impending graduation and endless discussions of what she was going to do with her life. She munched, her eyes sparkling with happiness as the flavors burst over her taste buds. Home again.

"COOOOOOKIEEEES!" yells Sauvage.

She figures, what's the harm in being loud when she is now home. She makes sure to only grab three cookies, so as to leave some for other students, and munches away happily as she heads to the girls' dorms. She said to the left, right?

Megan smiles at Gwen, a bit shyly.

"Should we get a cookie before Sauvage gets them all?" she asks quietly and starts to make her way to the plate of cookies. "I;m Megan by the way," she smiles.

Gwen smiles at Megan "Okay."

"Are you looking forward to the ball?"

"I am actually. Last ball I just sort of kept to myself in a corner with my drink. I'm trying to come out of my shell more so maybe I'll do something wild this year like dance!" Megan takes a bite of her chocolate chip cookie, "Are you looking forward to it?"

"I am actually, I kept to myself as well last time. It was so nice watching all the people dancing and the bad was awesome. I cannot wait to see who is playing this time."

"I hear its going to be a fairy-themed band. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the costumes everyone comes up with myself!" Megan takes another bite of her cookie. "Would you like to sit by the fire?"

"Yes, Thanks." Gwen sits down but is bad at small talk... she think of the current class assignment that she is working on. "so what did you think of the muggle studies homework?"
