Anyone else here get any subscription services? I'm currently subbed to LootCrate, ipsy, and NatureBox, and I just started trying out Marvel Collector Corps (since I've loved Marvel for years and recently started collecting pop figures). I tried Birchbox and graze for a while but came to hate both of them so I stopped.

What sub boxes do other Subetans get? Which is your favorite?

I just got my ipsy bag for this month and it's honestly my favorite yet.

I was subscribed to LootCrate, Nerdblock, ipsy and Julep. I wasn't too happy with ipsy myself. I loved getting LootCrate and NerdBlock. But since I recently bought a car, (or in the process of buying one), I decided to put my subscriptions for those on hold for awhile. I've heard of NatureBox, but I've never heard of Marvel Collector Corps.

I'm a poor college student but I'd love to be signed up for LootCrate and I wish I could've kept my Naturebox subscription. (I loved their snacks omg) but the Canadian pantry/snacks were small and the shipping too expensive.

I'm also a poor college student who would sign up for LootCrate if they could. lol Another problem though, would be that I basically would have nowhere to store all the cool stuff I got from those boxes.

There's a box called Anime Bento that I wanna try out someday too because I'm anime trash. o3o

I have a subscription to Okashi Connection (Japanese snacks). I get the medium box. Had it for almost a full year and no complaints =)

I tried Graze, it was meh. Good snacks but not enough to actually really be considered snacks. Then I tried Indie Gift Box. I think I did like 3 of those. Tons of little knick knacks and cool etsy type things. Problem with them is that you had to subscribe EVERY month in order to get it monthly. I stopped buying about the time they because "big" and became more expensive I think.

Birchbox and ipsy here! Never are the BOTH good in the same month, I find it alternates xD

But I like my little surprise. Its fun to look forward to twice a month :p

I'd love to do something like that, but I hate to give out my credit card info online (or anywhere for that matter). I wish there was a service where you could order month-to-month and not it automatically renew. I've really had trouble in the past cancelling things that automatically renewed, namely Xbox Live.

I used to sub to Birchbox but quit again because I was able to get a spot for Sephora Play. Same price, wayyyy better sample brands/sizes.

do you get any full-size products there, or just all deluxe size samples? One of the things I like so much about ipsy is I seem to get more full-size products than I ever got with Birchbox.

I get Marvel Collector Corps! I have been subscribed to them since their very first debut in like, April/May. I signed up for the year's worth. I totally want to renew it when it expires in May or so, but money is going to be tight so I doubt I'll be able to. Plus my mom is totally against them because I have a ton of Funko Pops and she doesn't want me to get anymore bahaha. I will have to see. Though at the time, I didn't even realize it was both Marvel AND Funko. I knew about the Hulkbuster Pop which I wanted, but I wasn't expecting to get anymore of those lol. I've heard rumors of a potential DC Comics themed subscription box?? But not sure when that'll begin.

I've seen Nature Box on YouTube and it looks amazing. That would be high on my list if money wasn't an issue lol. I'd even consider getting Bark Box for my dog, let's be honest.

Not yet, aside from the sponge, but ofc you can't give a piece of one lol. I'm pretty excited to see what they're doing for December though. I've never subbed to Ipsy because their branding doesn't really appeal to me - I've never heard of some of the brands and I feel that they're way overpriced, and they seem to always give out black eyeliners and red lipsticks, neither of which I need more of.

I've had pretty good luck with it, and I've gotten a lot of different colors of things... I think it really depends on your style profile. I can definitely understand not being into their branding though. I try not to pay too much attention to it because that kind of "girly" instagram-bait stuff isn't my thing anyway. It's only 10 bucks a month though and since that's usually made up by the makeup bag and at least one full item I feel like I get my value's worth. I don't know about the Sephora thing though because it kind of seems like the same stuff that I'd normally get for free from a Sephora order. But then again I'm not very into perfumes or face masks, so maybe it just isn't for me! Everyone's different, especially with makeup since it's so personal. I totally get not being into Ipsy though if it just isn't your thing.

Oh man I only just found out about Collector Corps but I like it pretty well so far. I don't think I'm gonna get December's though. I like Guardians but I've already got a few POPs of them and I'm not super into that side of Cosmic Marvel.

I did get a free Barkbox once and while my/my parents' dog loved it (because he's not really picky about toys), I don't know that I would get it for myself if I had my own dog. I love Naturebox though. The portions are so much better than Graze's and I feel it's more like real food than just bargain trail mix that I'd get in Graze a lot. If you can get a code for a free month I'd suggest giving it a try at least maybe.

Canceling XBL is a pain I've heard and I only used gift cards to pay for it because of that, so I definitely understand! There are some beauty boxes--I remember one k-beauty box, meemebox I think, in particular?--that let you order the boxes by month/theme, as well as things like when Loot Crate lets you buy old boxes that they still have in stock. I think a lot of the business model for these is being able to continue operations by being assured that they have a certain customer base that's not going to all drop off the face of the planet. Which is all well and good but it's definitely not for everyone.

The only reason why I initially learned about Collector Corps is because I saw the Hulkbuster Pop on the back of one of the boxes, googled it, and saw it connected with the Collector Corps. It was a bit of a gamble because I had never signed up for a subscription box, it was literally a brand new subscription company, and it was a lot of money to drop for a year's subscription. But I just did it anyway. I've been pretty satisfied with it, though this most recent box was not my favorite out of them thus far. I'm actually excited about December's box, but I liked GotG and generally like anything Marvel as is. Though I hope it won't be centered around Groot because there's enough Groot variations as is xD

I wouldn't mind Bark Box for my dog for the treats and whatnot. Can't have enough treats. But I'm sure he would easily shred up any of the toys inside the box. That is mainly if money was never an issue, bahaha. And the snacks in NatureBox sound sooo delicious. I've seen unboxings of it. And I'd be afraid to get a free sample. I'd probably instantly get hooked xD

I forgot to mention that I have gotten a single Lootcrate box lol. I got the exclusive Fallout box last month. I like the thought of Lootcrate but from unboxings I've seen, I'm not typically wild about the filler items they put in. I was pretty satisfied with my Fallout one though.

Yeah LootCrate is definitely either for you or not. I love little nerdy items and I never had action figures as a kid so collecting them like that is cool to me. I like that they added skips though so I can skip a box if I don't like the theme.

I actually was supposed to get Guardians but they ended up sending me Villains instead and yeah, I wasn't that into it. I'm probably going to try to sell the big figures because I don't like either of those characters. I'm definitely keeping the little Venom though. So precious XD

Ooohh Lootcrate does that? I had no idea, but that's awesome. I'd hate to be signed up for a subscription but not like one of the upcoming themes. Very smart.

Collector Corp's customer support is kind of ehhh right now. I gave them benefit of the doubt since they're so new and not even a year old yet. I had one month where they forgot to send me my box (believe it was the Ant-Man) and I e-mailed them and they eventually got back to me with an apology and processed my order. My favorites were probably the Avengers box and Secret Wars. Villains wasn't the best, in my opinion anyway. Though I had never heard of Morbius before. I called that they'd have something Loki related because it seemed obvious. As for the little Venom, I was so bummed! It was my first pocket pop so I decided to actually use it as a keychain, but it broke after two days of having it with my car keys. :/ The body fell off since it's just a bobblehead and I couldn't find it. It was a shame.

Oh no! I haven't taken mine out of the box yet because my current keychain guy is a tokidoki Marvel Hulk keychain that my partner got me in NYC, so it's really special. (Hulk for a Hulkling, heh.) I had a Spiderman one with the Marvel "M" my friend got me from Universal Studios too, but the charm fell off so I put it in my wallet for safe-keeping. I hate when keychains I love break it's the worst.

Yeah I've heard nightmares about their customer support, but I really wanted the Secret Wars box and I got it so I'm happy. I hope they iron out those issues though as Funko expands to the Star Wars and other collector corps variants.
