Dripping jackets, damp dresses, sopping shirts...while a rain overlay in general could be fun, particular items could also add versatility and drama to a look. Wet pants with a beach background say someone waded out waist-high. A wet jacket goes beautifully with that rainy poster at the Delphi Art Museum. A wet dress can be a cute summer item with a flirty pout, or a Morostide costume.

I'm having a hard time visualizing this, tbh. Most of the subeta clothes fit the HA pretty closely. There aren't a lot of pixels to play with. Can you find some image examples to post here?

I found some real-world examples of wet clothing and will describe how I think they could work. Examples SFW unless otherwise noted.

Man in a wet shirt Notice how the cloth is semi-transparent with the water, so careful shading could suggest sopping clothing through that. Maybe even have it transform for different skin tones, like the Vir sleeves.

ANother dude in a wet shirt. Not translucent this time; instead the colors are more saturated, and high-gloss highlights on the item could reproduce the effect.

Woman in a river Shading and highlights, with some more obviously slicked/soaked areas that I think Subeta artists could incorporate without having to add many more pixels. Add add some droplets here and there at the edges, and this wouldn't be out-of-place in Subeta's closet.

What mostly comes to mind for me are those items that came from the , and also give that wet look

I think more wet wearables would be cool, hey maybe we could find them in the Underground Spring or that Fishing Game xD

I like this idea

I think this is an awesome idea! Throwing nothing but support at this. I also really like 's idea of finding them in the underground spring, that would actually be really cool because then it's more of a harder thing to find, makes it kind of fun :3

Supporting.

Especially with hose rain backdrops/foregrounds and so forth. Having rain pouring on your and your HA is completely dry is silly. ;p

Yes, I need this. Not just modern clothes either, I'd love to see something like the Winsome Rogue items but dampened.

I would like this, there is a "Wet t-shirt" item on gaia where the avatars are MUCH smaller. I think we can get that into the avatars we have here.

Ooh yes, especially if we get to find them in the underground spring! There's only so much motivation to hunt for mutant fish there at the moment...

I've seen a couple 'wet' clothes items and wigs that could pass as wet... but not many, and not drastic enough to be standing out in a downpour like or

I love this idea. I'd love a wet t-shirt, with the sheerness of it it would be so cool for layering. And great for if you don't want to use an umbrella with a rainy backdrop.
