I only have 1 electric skillet and a microwave..Im kinda lost on what to make for thanksgiving..Im on a tight budget..Right now it looks like a 10-25 dollar including tax holiday meal.. Im only feeding 2 people I would like to have some kind of desert.. I know I can make stuffing(the boxed kind) in the microwave..

Cranberry anything is a huge NO.This is is cause of health reasons doctors said no cranberry anything. I don't like apple pie.Id rather have a uncooked apple. We love peach cobbler, pecan pie and pumpkin pie..

any suggestions?

Edit: I think I can stretch my boneless skinless chicken breasts so I have at least 2 for thanksgiving..

Something came up and my budget went down to about 5 to 10 dollars.

well, for a dessert you could go with microwave mug cakes? Google offers quite a lot of recipes for that kind of baking and on average you probably need 1 egg and some spoons of flour, sugar and butter/oil for one mug (plus additional flavour stuff) ;)

if you can get a can of pumpkin puree you could make this: http://kirbiecravings.com/2013/10/pumpkin-cinnamon-mug.html it's a pumpkin mug cake! There are ones with fewer ingredients but I don't know if you can get/if you already have a box of cake mix laying around.

ETA: you could also do a rice dish with spices to go with the chicken, or get a bag of frozen veggies if that's within your budget!

Now that Halloween is over, small sweet pumpkins have gone on sale in most places. Take one and cut it in half. Discard the pulp and save the seeds for a roasted snack treat. Scoop the meat out to within around a quarter of an inch from the rind (a melon ball scoop works great and makes nice round pieces), and put in a microwave safe dish with a peeled and cubed apple, a quarter cup of raisins, half a cube of butter or margarine, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon allspice. Microwave on high 3 minutes or until fork tender. Use the pumpkin rinds as bowls to serve. Adding up to 1/4 cup of sugar before microwaving and a spritz of whipped cream when serving turns the side dish into a dessert. Really yummy and looks fancy on the holiday plate.

You can buy a couple sweet potatoes and/or russet potatoes and nuke them for 2 different sides, and buy a packet of turkey gravy and add water to go with the white potatoes. They sell both types of potatoes in the can which would be faster and easier to make. You could also buy a bag of your choice frozen veggie (or canned) and microwave those too.

That would total only a few bucks seeing as veggies are pretty cheap. If you want some turkey they do sell just turkey breast in the freezer section. I don't know if you can cook it on a skillet thing but you could try? Conversely you could just buy an already cooked rotisserie chicken and have that instead.

Make thin pancakes the way that you like. The fun part is the filling. Use a search engine, recipe site, or cooking blog to see what combinations appeal to your personal preferences and dietary restrictions.

Looks like boneless skinless chicken breast with basil and a box of stuffing. Something came up and my budget went down to about 5 to 10 dollars.
