Because seriously, this needs a notification. I'm sure it's been suggested before, but for the love of shinwa, please implement a "are you sure?" notification when sending an item to friends/users. And yes I know there's the "OH USE TRADES WHEN POSSIBLE" but I'm sorry I'm not going to use trades for a single item.

I actually support this, especially when you've accidentally sent to the wrong user because it's spelled similar LOL whoops.

Why should everyone else suffer these because a few users just can't Copy and then Paste their friend's username? Subeta has several gifting options. Use Trades or Use the Gift Wrapper if you're sending something critical.

Put a PIN in place to send items to other people, that way the PIN page pops up in place of a confirmation. I did that a few years ago and it's saved my ass a bunch of times. In fact, I have it on (nearly) everything now.

Although it still confuses me that we have to enter a PIN to deposit sP. Why would we need security to make sure someone doesn't give us money? And if you have it on your vault at all, it's on deposit and withdrawal. You can't turn it off for deposit.

Anyway, that's just a side-rant, sorry :P

I'm not a fan of the idea of this. If you're sending someone something expensive, just double check the name of the user you're sending it to, before you hit the 'send' button. Or copy and paste the user name. Just take a bit more time to make sure it's correct before sending. I do this. And I don't want to have to deal with the 'are you sure' option when I know I'm double checking it already

Seems like a reasonable suggestion, though I agree that the PIN page currently helps with this if it's enabled (has helped me once or twice when moving too quickly and picking the wrong name from the dropdown menu). It's easy enough for anyone to make this mistake though (everyone's done something really silly without thinking before), and it's just a matter of taking a split second to click a button/hit Enter to pass through the added verification. If it saves people some humiliation and lost gifts intended for friends then I'm for it.

If I may, I'd also like to see this verification added to the cancel option on Item Hunt. This has screwed me a couple of times from the screen jumping unexpectedly due to page loading difficulties.
