Fine Fabrics
I personally love the idea of the shop. There are gorgeous clothes and accessories and it's a fun concept.
There are a couple of "off" pieces though:
The Festival Belts. Here's the purple for an example:
They cross the bottom of the female HA's boobs. Doesn't look right them being so high up there.
The Festival Bows. Again, seeing as I'm in the purple colour, have the purple one for an example:
They're still drawn as if the HA is standing straight. The trails at the bottom of the bows follow the angle nicely, but the bows themselves still don't.
If these couple of things were fixed, then things would be 100% perfect.
I still stand by what I said at the beginning though - the clothes are stunning! Thank you to whomever thought of this concept!
Dara's Darlings
This minion bonding is absolutely precious! There's another minion in there that I so desperately want today but I want to carry this full bond out for the first time to see what happens at the end. I just love the whole idea of a minion getting to know you! It's brilliant! :D
I'd still love to know what special minions there are, though, that require a full bond before you can buy or take home... o.o
Edit: I just found one...o.o I couldn't resist and I bought the bunny prematurely and went for my other that I was dying for...and I found a special one o.o

For the minions, the special ones give you the message "This minion still looks afraid of you. Come back in about 24 hours to bond with it more." instead of giving you the option to buy it right away. That's how you know (because Dara tells you in the text at the top that "There are some minions that I couldn’t possibly give up unless there was a strong bond first. I will let you know if this condition arises." which ... he does by telling you THIS MINION IS AFRAID). :)
Thanks :P I just now found that out with this one that I chose LOL! XD

the festival belts are designed to work with the festival dresses.

I don't see the problem with the backbows because the HA are standing upright and its not like your HA will be naked otherwise, unless that's how you prefer to dress.
If I have claimed a Dance from you and do not immediately Dance I will get back to you.
Always Buying:
then that whole dress (and its recolours) should be re-drawn in such a way that it's under the boobs because where it is right now it looks really strange riding up the boobs like that O_o
I never said the HA isn't standing upright. They're all standing upright. it's the angle that's the issue. The bow part is for an HA that's standing straight, not angled. The trail of the bow is right as it follows the angle of the HA, but the bow doesn't.

I fail to see this as an issue, not everyone wants to have a big breasted HA all the time.
If I have claimed a Dance from you and do not immediately Dance I will get back to you.
Always Buying:
It's not in line under the HA's breasts, and if you want to use that sash with any other combination, it'll be over the breasts and look out of place. Alignment is something that should be consistent, not just most of the time.

I sincerely hope this does not happen. I don't believe there's anything wrong with those dresses (or the belts, for that matter). Maybe that's just me. :/ I love the new dresses specifically, though, they were the first things I bought, and I actually like the bust in particular.
Anyway, I really love the new shops in general, especially Fine Fabrics! I hope there will be similar shops in the future. Love it! I also love the way the newer Minions work, what with the bonding thing. That's really cute, makes me really want Minions for the first time ever. :)
I disagree about the the dress/belt needing to be redrawn to fit under the breasts. That high belted/sashed style is a very traditional look in several east Asian cultures, like a Korean hanbok ;)
so uhhh there are a lot of different style of Asian dresswear, and several different variations on the Han fu (chinese) throughout the ages. One of the styles usually worn by younger women include ones that have cloth running over the breast rather than under. Anyway, in most cases, breasts were not accentuated in clothing and belts worn under the breast usually sat more close to the waist, as compared to an "empire" silhouette line.
I also understand that traditional Korean clothing also de-emphasized breast curvature, but I'm not as familiar with that as Chinese clothing.
anyway I really like the new items ;v; but altering the back bows to 3/4 or 4/5 turned view might be improved (since more and more items have this and the straight-on POV wouldn't match them), but by themselves I think they look alright.

I don't see anything wrong about how they go across the boobs, especially since (as others have pointed out) it's inspired by actual clothing. We have plenty of waist items that sit lower, this is something different.
man here i was about to hop in and mention the hanbok and other clothes but someone beat me to it!
yeah, they're following the source inspirations a lot better if they're not tits out all the time on these. heck, even kimono- the first time i was dressed in one properly by a japanese friend, i was surprised by how high the obi was placed. breasts aren't the focus of these outfits, and as such, the clothing isn't designed to mold to/emphasize them.

Every year, I go to my local Matsuri wearing a yukata (a male one, but still). And yes, the obi/sash are near/on the boobs. No, it is not a mistake from the artist.
However, I agree on the bows.
The bows def need to be fixed. There's a lot of 3/4 art issues that somehow get missed and ruin otherwise amazing pieces.
I was going to jump on with the hanbok too but several people have already said it. I love the dresses and belts, they are just perfect. To be honest a lot of the kimonos on site didn't look right to me because of the way they seemed to show off the chest. These are great.
I'll agree that the back bows look off to me but I haven't tried to play with them in the wardrobe yet. I sort of assume they'll look good with the way the dresses have been drawn.

I was just at Fine Fabrics and realized that Jogoh is transgender, I am so thrilled right now, I can't believe I didn't notice sooner, omg.
I was about to ask how you knew, but then I actually read the blurb for the first time instead of just skipping it...
Also, she's really cute. I love that hair.
The only thing that bothers me with the Fabrics shop, is the colours being on 4 lines instead of 2. I thought it was like that because I'm on a laptop at home, but it's the same now that I'm on a big screen computer at work.
Surely, that one colour circle can be added on the line above, unless there's a reason for it that I'm missing?

That's strange. Mine are on two lines maybe it's your browser, unless you're using different browsers on each computer?
