What tier is your pet and what do you have for weapons + scrolls? You may not have been here when we changed over to tiers. Tiers are based on your pet's stats. Higher stats = higher tier = you can use more weapons. I can link you to guides if necessary

Tier 8 and I have rainbow vortex, soma tabs, pirate cutlass, bunch of spells cobalt eternal etc, forj temper machete, I think that's about it.

Hm tier 8 I'd probably use a rapier of error, replica minotaur knocker, and reborn icewand of doom. The reborn wand can be made from two mc items in the genetech lab, the reborn wand of doom and freezewand of doom The reborn freezewand is better in t6 and 7 but still has use in t8, you may just want to look into t9/t10 stuff though, up to you.

I'd also get a phoenix quill from the mc if you don't have one, and reviver of the lion from the antique shop. Also win a recycle blaster from the recycle beast, having two blasters (your soma tablets being the other) can be very handy.

For scrolls, I'd probably try for a terra focujin or aftershocks. Terra focujin can be made in the shrine but can be pricy, aftershocks does offense, defense, and heaing, but slightly less than the focujin. Also perilous whirlpool scrolls are cheap to make and quite handy

I do have the focujin scroll and whirlpool. I also have the recycle blaster. What about the legend weapons? Useless at my tier for now or..?

If you already have them and a sentinel, then yes they have some use I believe. Other than that I would not use them. Overpriced for what they do, they aren't the great weapons they used to be when they first came out

So I dig through my shops and found a few weapons that I had. Mind telling me what's useful and what's junk?

Reborn icewand is good, prodigy staff is okay. Phoenix quill, reviver of the lion are your two best healers and are staples for even a t13. Deluxe death shard is a decent freezer, though there are alternatives at t8 and t9, but it is wprth keeping and using. Already mentioned the soma tablets and recycle blaster, I use these at t13 still. Rainbow vortex can be useful for a full block and small freeze proc. That leaves the cutlass, short sword, and slingshot. The slingshot is something I don't think I've seen. Checked out the stats and it isn't very good. The cutlass can be handy for opponents that deal water, sandragon being the first one I think of. Having it will help you get wins on him earlier. The short sword is a 75 earth block at t9, and can potentially be very helpful if the enemy deals a lot of earth.

[edit] Think I forgot to mention the shield. I am sure it has some uses on a few challengers. Isn't that one of the full blocking shields? Tier 8 may be on the high end of its usefulness though, you're generally better off with two attackers and no shields
