Someone else suggested this in my question thread and I thought I'd bring it up here:

I would quite like this myself. It'd save on tokens and it'd also help get more skins...especially those that we really want. I really want the dog and Nova ones and I don't see myself getting them this Morostide with all the duplicates I've been getting :/

But...the zapper is a random thing. It doesn't even make sense for it to not give duplicates. Besides, there is always next year.

btw I have gotten Magma 3 times in the past day. It sucks but that is the way it is!

Guys, I don't want duplicates from the pumpkin patch or ToTing as well, it waste my time to get 10 Robin dolls

IS THIS THE ONLY ITEM I GIVE OUT, my last three messages for 5th ToTers was that specific item. I could do with some RNG shuffling.

But, I'm a little tired of instant gratification. "oh, this is hard, can it be rereleased?" "oh, this is expensive, can the price be lower?" "oh, this is RNG based, can we go and pick what we want?"

As much as I would love to have not gotten the same skin 2+ times in a row, they have to keep it random. It's a token sink, and one they know they can rely on. As much as I dislike it.

I don't mind getting dupes from the random zapper. It's fun!!

While the zapper is supposed to be random and should remain random, the chance of getting a particular skin is lower and lower each year because of the new releases. I almost want a way to purchase a few skins, with a much much much higher price of course. Also, we could limit the amount of skins you can purchase, like two or three skins per user per year. It could be a good sP/token sink as well...

I would really really embrace an option to buy a certain skin as my luck is so super rotten. Got nearly every skin by now but of course not the one that I really want since year one of the avatar zapper. Seriously, I would be willed to pay 10mil only to have my peace...

I wouldn't say no to paying more for the chance to zap a specific skin. I've only got about half of them, and I'm getting duplicates more often than not at this stage. 250 tokens for a specific skin? With only about five days left, it would probably serve as a decent enough sink on top of the normal zaps.

The zapper should stay random, but it would be nice if it would at least prevent giving the same skin back to back. (then watch it get stuck in a never ending loop of going back and forth between two skins lol)

I also like the idea of paying extra to get a specific skin. Nice way to dump some tokens out of the system. or you could even make it half Sp, half tokens to get some cash out too.

I agree that it's pretty annoying as there's no way to target a specific skin. Sure, you can try again next year, but a year is a long time to wait!

This complaint would be null if we had open access to the Liability Waivers. But stuck in a chance machine - with 44 other items - isn't a reasonable way to release them for intensive zapping.

I'm okay with the zapper being random, especially now that we can keep the skins we get. That alone is enough of a benefit that I don't mind all the duplicates.

No support. The zapper is Mad Science. Therefore the results should be stochastic and not predictable like real life engineering. Also, this is a long-term-goal sorta thing.

We knew when the zombieskins were being made moveable that the zapperskins would be too. I've been saving WT for a long time for this, and if getting zapperskins pleases you you should save a stash for next year. Treat it like getting 1000s of quests done, or a substitute for the Reading Drive, or feeding your pet for Gourmand.

A lot of weird stuff gets Suggested and adopted for "sP sink" reasons. This feature doesn't use sP though. If we needed a sink for WT, then I could see charging 1000WT for a service like this. The weekly Token Shop restock seems to be doing the sink thing pretty well. I don't think we need a sink for WT.

I like it being random. While I wouldn't mind paying extra for a guaranteed skin, I'm fine with how it is.

Dunno about paying straight for the exact skin you want. Plus the cost would likely be a little high for most (though I'm sure there are some people where the sky is the limit, and it would have to be a high price to offset the bonus you're getting).

I could see a bribe/item/'funny quiz' or just an option to zap a skin in a certain.. grouping or category. Like animal skin, elemental skin, experiment skin, etc.

That way it's still fun/cheap/random, but you at least get to narrow it down. There are a few that might be a tiny bit hard to 'categorize' but a kitchen sink category/Elucid's choice type could cover them.

I think this here might be the best compromise. Pay a lot more tokens to guarantee a (still random) skin that you don't already have yet, and maybe combine it with a longer wait time.
