I've started carving pumpkins to try and finish my collection and such and I'm craving Fresh Pumpkin's right now and I am getting pumpkins from random years. Have all carve-able pumpkins changed to give out any carved pumpkins or is this a glitch?

I think Fresh might give out a couple different years' pumpkins, I don't think I have gotten any from other years from this year's pumpkin though.

Pumpkins have always given out their year's carvings. Fresh pumpkins may be different because they're also battle loot or something? But I'm pretty sure all other pumpkins only give carvings from their year

Over the years the relative supply of pumpkins has changed radically from "way too many" (which is something you will almost never ever hear me say) to "where the hell are they" .

For some inscrutable reason users hate items being inexpensive or "useless" so various schema were invented to solve this like making them Collectible and Eat-able. Then when those reduced the supply of cheap pumpkins, users screamed they weren't dropping enough. Then the supply increased next year and then next year Pumpkin Deleting took out all the old ones and the Collection became difficult to complete. Fresh Pumpkins (of which there were a ton) were made retroactive...but no other pumpkin in the future was. In compensation, Fresh Pumpkin became a Morostide monster drop, so you could stomp-yourself-out a supply should you need some to carve or delete. But they were only intended to remedy getting carves from old stocks of pumpkins that had been assiduously deleted by Achievement collectors.

Last year there was not so many pumpkins dropping and also the deleters really wiped much of all the old stock, but the that year's pumpkin was not made deletable. Now this year and last year are deletable by Suggestion.
