Are spaces in pet names still allowed?

Wasn't sure if perhaps there was just a technical problem I had when creating a pet or what but I'm finding it will no longer allow me to create a pet that has a space in the middle of their name. Nothing else fancy, many of my other pets have it. Wondering if they got rid of that option. Thank you so much in advance!
