I recently discovered the option "send to minion zoo" while arranging my inventory. What happens to minions, when I do this? Is this a collection...or...do they simply disappear? I couldn't find anything about this.

this is a GA feature in Beta. Go to the GA forum and then to the Beta subforum and you will see a link to your Zoo in the first (stickied) post there.

And yes, Account Search can't find your Minions once you've stuck them in there so if you stop doing GA you'd never know.

Related question: Not realizing it was a GA-only beta thing, I shoved minions in the zoo while I had a 1-week GA. Since I don't have a GA, I can't access my zoo. So how do I get my minions back?

You have to get a GA or wait for the feature to go live for all users.
