Where is my 999970 digits?

My pets name have 1 million digits, but show only 30... I tried with 2 million, but return the 413 error.
You have only to click with right button on pet name input, choice "Inspect Element", change the value "maxlength", push enter and put more digits on name of your pet. And you have a new pet with 30 digits name (default is 25 at max).
I hope that the 999970 digits dont make trouble. Sorry!

i'm pretty sure there's a character limit on pet names to prevent site crashes, bc I'm 100% sure a pet with a name actually that long would crash the site.

I'm actually surprised that worked, though. Obviously -- as you've proven -- the 'maxlength' doesn't prevent you from entering longer names if you're determined enough, so they should have an error message if you go past it. Automatically truncating the name is kind of a lazy way to do it and can cause problems. ("Why is my pet named 'Albus Percival Wulfric Brian' when I actually entered 'Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore'?")

Seems kind of suspicious though, the account is over 6 and a half years old and this is the first post they've ever made. Not much of anything actually on the account either, it seems...
That shouldn't have happened :P There is now an error message if you input more than the maximum.
There is a maxlength on the box though, so you shouldn't be able to put more characters in unless you go in manually and change that. Either way, there is an error now.
