Cursed would, of course, be like Mori/Nori items - I can't find the exact one I'm looking for right now, but something like the art on this: Half pinky-angelic, half purply-demonic.

Demonic, on the other hand, is pretty self-explanatory - though it could branch into different types of demons: some would be your plain 'vanilla' demons, yes, but also all sorts of others from various places and legends. sort of like SMT

In all seriousness, I would seriously consider changing Ceth to one of these. Could we make it happen?

Nightmare is pretty much the "demon" version of Subeta. I wouldn't be big on a color that is going to attempt to shoehorn more Earth lore into Subeta.

I also don't see Cursed as being that interesting of a color. Better for overlays.

I feel that our version of "cursed" is Darkmatter.

- I see what you mean about Nightmare being rather demonic, but it's...not really that much of a contrast to Angelic, which is what this Demonic would be. Perhaps sticking with just traditional demonic (like, for example: similar to the demon plushies Quentin gives out) would be better, though.

- Darkmatter isn't really that much like what I mean, though. I mean, the pet is literally split down the middle, with one side being Mori-ish dark and the other Nori-ish light. Perhaps I didn't explain it so well, I apologise.

Yeah, that color does nothing Nightmare doesn't already do.

We already have a bunch of spooky colors. We don't need more, unless they have their own style and this...does not work at all.

A Mori/Nori color seems kind of niche, and I'm not sure how popular it would really be. Obviously I can't speak for the whole of Subeta, but it doesn't interest me at all.

And "Demon" is too vague, I think. There are so many ways that can be interpreted that I'd need a better visual before I could form an opinion. (And in addition to Darkmatter and Nightmare which were already mentioned, we also have Bloodred, which is pretty dark.)

Darkmatter is cursed though. Mori is the cursed form of Nori. She was cursed by Maleria with her darkmatter powers. It seems what you're looking for is the more typical, religious viewing of a demon. Horns. Fangs. Bat-like wings. The anti-angel. When I think of demon pets I think of nightmare personally. Or the two species that LOOK demonic, feli and darkonite.

I'm always open to new pet colors and if they did decide on this I wouldn't argue, but I do think it's very similar to the two mentioned colors. Even angelic could work if you did an overlay. And bloodred.

Why call it "Demonic". Something like "Tainted" or whatever with tattered wings etc.

Good examples of what I thought. Maybe even ripped off wings or something, to give them a "fallen angel" sort of look. No smiles for them, more a gloomy look. Color scheme more "washed out". It doesn't have to look spooky at all.

But I do like the idea of a Mori/Nori sort of color, even though Darkmatter is supposed to be "cursed", but where are Mori's Darkmatters and the aura? I don't really see the connection in that case. (:

That makes sense, tainted. I like that. As for Cursed, I meant it literally like this:

One side Nori-styled, one side Mori-styled. It could be named differently, I just went with Cursed because of the quests being called that.

Erm. I'm more for overlay's. Tey are more unique. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't mind a Mori/Nori style color myself. I think it could look pretty nice, be different enough from the other colors since it's not light OR dark but something in-between, and could give more story to that NPC maybe? And I could imagine them with a conflicted demeanor, with the internal struggle between their good versus evil side... I think that could look pretty cool if they could draw it well.

Don't think I like Demonic much, but the idea of a fallen angel style color does kinda sound appealing... And a part of me is thinking since we already have an Angelic color anyway, why not a fallen variant? ¯(?)/¯ (Aside from it being more work for the artists, but eventually it'll be good to have new colors)

I like the idea of "Demonic" or something like that, becuase there's a lot of room for staff to run wild.

But please no bi-colored split-in-half pets, as much as I love the Mori/Nori items that are two items that go together, I really don't like the design where they're just divided in half.

Im bringing this up again because I really need a "demon" type pet to contrast with a story im building with some of my angelic pets. Nightmare may have to do for now... but its not really what I want!

I'm all in for this, specially demonic! We need more evil colors like nightmares, truly evil and scary

Love the tainted idea ...that would actually be really cool, especially for those of us who don't prefer overlays
