i am wanting to open a pixel art shop in the art market forum section but was curious about the value of sP in relation to USD. i know that $1=100 CSC but i don't know how that translates to sP or what a fair sP pricing should be.
(i'm using an old bat icon i made forever ago as an example because morostide/halloween is around the corner)

usually i charge $5 USD for an icon such as this, which would mean i could also accept 500 CSC for this image. would this be fair? and what would be an sP price that would not be asking too much?
and for a larger pixel (flightrising babies)

usually i would charge $7-10 USD depending on the complexity, which would mean 700 CSC to 1000 CSC. again, would this be fair or should i lower the price and what would be a fair sP price?

You can just search csc cards in user shops, like the 500 Credit Gift Card. Currently the price for 500csc is 25.5m sP. So $1 = 100csc = 5m sP (around there).
Ok awesome! I rediscovered subeta last week after being gone for 5ish years. Haha. Do you feel this is a fair price? I'm still learning the current monetary system, I used to know the economy really well and idk what would be too much.

no way of knowing how much your art will sell for until you try, so "too much" is an odd term.
That much sP is about 7-14 days of "labor" IMO. The average user has 14.3MsP This figure includes folks who signed on but never played so the actual value is likely higher. Currently I'm sitting on 125MsP which ranks me 2365th in terms of readily available scrip.
The average allowance for a 13-year-old which is the youngest you can be and play here is around 10USD.
The last piece of art I bought was a background for a petpage and it cost me 3KWT. WT=Wizard Token
It definitely does not take a week or more to make 5m sP. You could do it in less than a week, definitely. 2-3 days depending on your resources.
I think that sounds fair, but I don't buy art very often so I'm not sure. There's an Art Pricing forum where you can ask for more educated opinions though c:
