I already scratched the Golden Glory Scratchcard ages ago, but it doesn't show that I have. Is there any way I can get it to register in my achievements? Otherwise I have to somehow scratch another 4,750 scratchcards, which is ridiculous.
This particular Achievement came after many folks had gotten and scratched theirs (including me) and it doesn't remember, sorry. There was no way for staff to check.
Me, I find scratching the cards fun and profitable so I didn't mind doing the extras scratchings. Users are selling it for 7MsP, and the win is usually between 1 and 3 million. The difference which is a reasonable price for an Achievement to me if I didn't wanna scratch. I've spent far more on others.
Just double-check your achievement list? It should activate on its own, as soon as you scratch it.
You can look at the achievement checklist just to be doubley sure it's activated, but I'm not sure why it wouldn't activate.
Scratching another 5k cards won't get you another Golden Glory, but you can file a ticket if checking the two achievements doesn't work :)
[edit]Misunderstood OP :)

You do get a second Golden Glory at 5k scratches. Amber added it as an extra prize here for all the people who had already scratched their Golden Glory received at 50 scratches before the achievement for scratching a Golden Glory came out as it isn't a retroactive achievement (stated here).
Unfortunately is right in that you do have to scratch the full 5k or buy one. However, I do agree that buying and scratching the cards yourself is highly profitable if you can spare the time. I'm up to nearly 4k and mostly scratch for the stat gains at this point. x)
Sorry I misunderstood the OP, I thought Poet had already scratched 5k, and was expecting another at essentially the 10k. I forgot it was an older prize for the 50 scratches :)

Ah, ok. :) That definitely wouldn't work! I can't wait until I hit the 5k mark myself. /buys another scratchcard
Yeah, 5k scratches. It's SO FAR AWAY. Kind of a bummer that our old scratch doesn't just count and we have to work even harder for it than people who just joined or whatever, y'nno?
I think I'd be even angrier if the retroactive scratch got added because I sold the one I got at 50 (before the achievement was created) and didn't scratch it at all, lol.
Very true, but at least it is possible and not a total waste of time and effort. I just keep the link in a pinned tab and refresh every so often. c:
Auto-refreshers aren't against the rules still, are they? I guess I could set that up.
They're not, but only because the rule wouldn't be enforceable.
Is that the only reason? Geez, that's kinda bad.
