I'm going to be a mom in the very near future, and my baby apps and books recommend that I start singing to my little guy now that his ears are developed. Apparently, he will likely recognize lullabies I've sung to him regularly during this time, and may find them comforting once he's born.

Thing is, I know, um, two. And I hate them. One, I don't even know the English words to.

Soooooo... what are some great lullabies? Bonus points if you can link me to a YouTube so I can hear 'em and maybe learn the lyrics. :)

I've never heard that one before! It's great, thank you for sharing!

How could I forget that one? I even have it on my mp3 player. I bawl over it every time, though -- I swear I can't hear it without crying, haha. :) Little guy is due in just a few weeks, but it could happen at any time, according to my midwife. We actually had a bit of a scare last week. He's locked, loaded, and ready to go!

My husband is soooo nervous! And I keep having dreams that I'm going into labor. But everything cleared itself up after last week's scare, and there's at least a chance I'll make it the full 40 weeks. Hopefully I will, because he's a little on the smaller side, so he could use the last few weeks to finish baking. :) And I need the time to finish washing all his little clothes and diapers, and put the crib together!

Don't mind that he is smaller. As i was pregnant with my first daughter, doctor keep on saying she is to small. And in the End she was a perfekt little Human, not to small - just right! As said, i keep my fingers crossed. If you make it to the 38 week, everything is fine! :)

I'm technically considered term today at 37 weeks, so I'm pretty happy with that! And if their last estimate of his weight is accurate, he'll still be a reasonably normal size with a 40-week birth. But they're still sending me in for a growth scan next week to be sure everything is going okay in there... though I could tell them he's doing fine. I swear he's trying to burst through my abdomen! Haha.

- Trust yourself. It's in a mothers blood if the little one is fine. <3 Keep me up to date, if you like! I would love hearing what the doctor will say.

That growth scan turned out just fine -- estimated at 7.2lbs. that week. He was chubby and active and amazing. I'm 39 weeks along now and keep being told "it could happen any day" -- I'm further along than my sister was with her most recent labor, and still not in labor. Argh! Just playing the waiting game, and laughing every time someone gets eliminated in the office betting pool.
