Hey all,
I've been trying to upload a forum image for over an hour and a half, and I've been running into a variety of problems, all centered around image size or image quality. I want my image to be 300x300 px, and the image I'm resizing is about 2000 px on its shortest side. Whenever I try to resize the image beyond about 50% smaller, and I upload it, it gets grossly blurry.
I decided to stop uploading resized versions of the image and just upload the full square image I wanted. Upon setting that full image as my forum image, Subeta resized it and kept the crispness, but the image was 456x456 px instead of 300x300.
I'm not sure what to do to keep the crispness of the image while still fitting within Subeta's maximum image dimensions. Any suggestions, tips, or assistance would be super appreciated!
you can try pasting it directly into a canvas that fits the dimensions you want and then move it around until enough of it is shown. Otherwise, try using the canvas size in photoshop to resize and allow it to keep the ratio and see if that helps with the lack of crispness.
