There's so many things I want to do on Subeta that I lack motivation for. I've always wanted to make friends on here but just when I started to get acquainted with people real life got busy and I had to leave for awhile. I also wanna finish my pets. I have a few that I adopted from people that I feel so guilty over because I haven't finished them. Aaand I wanna make pet profiles for people but I'm so crappy that I end up taking orders, finishing one and then losing all motivation and inspiration and just hiding from the rest. Even when I'd be doing them as freebies I'd still feel bad about letting people down. IDK man. All this irrational guilt. buries self in blankets

Hi Dotty. ^_^ I definitely know the feeling of not being able to finish projects. Most of the pictures I start I end up leaving half-finished. Life is just too busy! (Or I'm too lazy…)

Hay! Ooh, what kinda pictures do you make? I find my moods are really all over the shop, so I'll be super inspired for a few days and then it just disappears for weeks and everything I make is crappy. D:

Lately I've been working in graphite; then I can focus on the shading independently, and use the color replacer tool in my art program to color it. But I go through phases; I'm also good with colored pencils.

Yeah, first day I'm REALLY excited about something, and from there it dies out in half-lives. I get like, 40% done in the first three days, and then it sits around for MONTHS. x.x

Ah, fun stuff! I wish I were better at drawing and colouring. I feel like I'm super creative without the talent to see it through. >< Haha, same! When I'm motivated I get a ridiculous amount of work done, then all the next week I do nothing at all. It's a real pain when it comes to school work and deadlines. >:c

Oy, story of my life. I also write in my spare time, and it's the same there. In six months, I wrote over 100 pages; now I have been mostly ruminating on that draft for over two years. I'm finally starting to redraft, though.

Ah, I haven't written anything fiction in years. I used to really enjoy roleplaying and writing stories for my characters but I don't seem to be able to do it like I used to. I think I might just be out of practice and too fed up with having to write for school to want to write any more. What do you like to write?

Well if the muse doesn't sing then there's not much you can do. I tend to write sci-fi and fantasy: fantasy more in short stories, sci-fi more in my longer works. But I am working on said novel, and it is turning into an overgrown weed because I just keep adding more and more characters. And when I add them, I have a compulsive need to know who they are and where they came from. So I'm sort of following my protagonists around starting when they're five and going on into their 20s...

I know how that is! Real life definitely gets busy. I haven't been fully active on here in years because of just.. simply being busy every day of my life.

Oh man I'm kind of the same myself. I would like to make a few or couple more friends on here, but I always get very wary of initiating conversation most of the time. What if they were only looking to add for achievements or aren't interested in talking? Yeapp I have a LOT to do when it comes to my pets and I only have 3 argh. I feel guilty for not progressing on my pets since I actually do adore them a lot. I'd like to get into making both user and pet profiles, but I haven't coded in about 4-5 years (unless you count tumblr haha although it's been a year or so since I've been on there)... oh yeah I get what you mean about letting people down I understand that feel.

Hi Myles! I'm sorta slowly getting around to overlay stuff, though I find it very expensive with paying the artist and then gathering the CSC to submit it. I imagine if I'm more active I should be generating more sP though. You have some really nice pets! Kristie is a cutie. <3

I am the same way about finishing projects. I've got this super important drawing I'm doing for a side project at work and it's kind of a big thing that I get to do it at all so I should totally be more motivated, but by the time I get home I'm just so tired and blah that I just don't feel like it. I have depression so I know that plays a part but ehhhh I'm lazy too, lol.

Sure thing! Yeahh I get what you mean. I'm actually a fairly old user from years back, but my account got deleted after inactivity during that purge thingy hahah. I used to have a glacier Kumos, so I originally was going to make another Kumos and go for glacier again. I've changed my mind though and even though he's a common I actually care about him a great deal. In fact, I'd probably care more than the Kumos I had way back! Haha I see I see. It's nice to have a good amount of pets when you care about them. It's even better when people genuinely care about their pets! Oh, thanks! If I need any help I'll ask you someday future when you're free. ^ ^

Ahah yep I remember the really old days of Subeta where I collected Kumos items I adored and how I treasured my actual pet lmao. It took me a pretty long while to get through the fields and save up for the chalice haha. Oh I notice the little things when it comes to awkward poses (as in the little details) and whatnot so that's probably one of the big reasons why I have only three pets lol.; I'd like an Irion since aside from the recolors, I think it looks great in more than one color. I also REALLY like the storm Telenine, but I feel like its right leg is drawn awkwardly? Even with that perspective I feel like it's too long among other things uwah. I'm also considering a chibi Mallarchy and maybe a storm Aeanoid as well, but I don't have stories in my head unlike for my current pets. x . x Yeah! Subeta is really good with pet slots since they allow so many; other sites really limit users to my memory.
