...for the next Motor City Comic Con. The thing is, I'm white and she's black. How should I go about doing this? I was thinking maybe I should just get a dreads wig that's more of a light brown like my real hair color, as I was thinking maybe the black dreads she has would look out of place with my super light skin. Am I thinking too much in to this? Should I go with a black wig or a light brown one? I think either way I'll be recognizable if I do the rest right. I already have a perfect headband that looks just like hers.

Have you ever cosplayed a person of a different race? How did you go about doing it? What do you think I should do in this case?

Isn't she though?! I'm thinking I might go with the black. As I've been looking around, light brown dreads seem to be very hard to come by. Black are everywhere. And cheaper. Which is good because I'm broke, lol.
