Hello, last night I purchased the lovely Wilted Carnation Petals CW from the pawn shop,

Since playing with it, I've noticed something peculiar and I'm wondering if it's just my monitor or if I'm doing something funny. While in the wardrobe, the skirt has a distinct dark shading to it that matches the top I paired it with. Out on the toolbar and on the forums, the skirt appears more washed out and gray.

On the left side of the image is how it appears in the forums, and on the right side is how it appears in the wardrobe.

Am I going nuts? Is there a difference between the two? Is it just how my monitor is set with one side being lighter then the other?

i see what you mean in your screenshots, there is definitely a very subtle difference. however, i can't seem to replicate it in the wardrobe - it appears like the left image, how it looks on your avatar right now.

Happy to know I'm at least not totally nuts. I wanted to jump back in the wardrobe and see if I could figure out some kind of a cause but I can't get the v3 to load at the moment.

- I see it too. There was a similar issue with the steamwork tigrean when that was released. The artist had saved it with some unusual settings, so it looked washed out in some places and not others. I think this may have the same problem.

When I open the overlay in photoshop, I see this:

If I switch it from Grayscale to RGB and resave it, it doesn't look so washed out:

I suppose given its status as a CW, there's nothing really to be done. A far as I'm aware, the user can't really re-submit the artwork, even if it is 'glitched'.

well, in cases where there is an actual technical problem, the user can always file a ticket to have the artwork replaced with the correct version, and this might be one of those cases.

Solid point. Since the artist has a status as 'HIATUS. DO NOT DISTURB', I'm hoping this won't be bothersome for her.

Hello! This is the file I uploaded, the only file that I have, and uploaded the way as I always have been. This is on subeta's end probably with all their new wardrobes (which is really annoying -.- I'm also missing a nose due to their problems :( )

Which wardrobe are you using? The top on the wardrobe screenie also look a bit sharper than the one on the left to me.

As of the last time I was in the wardrobe (v3) the skirt was still appearing differently then it did on the forums and on the sidebar of the site. Unfortunately, I can't go back in to confirm that today since I use Google Chrome and it appears its no longer supported by the wardrobe, so I'm gonna need to find a new browser for this site. xD;

Now that makes sense xD (the skirt image being kshfksjdhf in V3, I mean) The one showing up right now is the correct overlay. Seriously V3 wardrobe is so glitchy, I wish I could do something about it but our best bet is wait for them to update it T_T

Agreed, especially since Firefox is my only other go-to browser and apparently that's not going to supported any longer either. >.> I really love subeta, but man, I don't want to switch browsers solely for the purpose of making the wardrobe function properly.

sigh I couldn't agree more. I use chrome most of the times, and then I have safari (which also isn't support in the wardrobe) Are they going to keep it like that or are they gonna fix e.e IT's just so inconvenient right now.

It's the old wardrobe that's not supported by browsers anymore (and possibly the beta), not the brand new one. That's the whole reason the v3 exists, because browsers don't support the others anymore (but I did notice that none of my items are loading in v3, which is a glitch and not related to browsers not supporting the wardrobe)

Well hey, there's good news. Google Chrome has stopped supporting some websites features as of late so I figured based on the text this was the same case, I'm happy to wrong though. Wasn't willing to change browsers for one site. >->

I've also got the glitch of things not appearing, so I guess as far as anything goes, we'll have to wait until they can manage to sort that one out.
