It feels like forever ago. The userbase had legitimate complaints about mass releases of the same item, but... over time I came to be frustrated that all the items I liked were unique. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but so many of them were just basic things, like shoes or generally plain wigs. When I saw the Suggestion board I was immediately interested. I'd like to thank the staff for responding to the suggestion board for recolors so quickly and so well. I hope this continues in coming months because I'm just dying over things like and so many of the others. Thank you so much.
I'm too new a player to know anything about the recolour disapprovals. However, the recolours to a ton of things are super nice anyway. I love them. Gives you so many options instead of being so limited.
Recolours are great because there's more chance of finding clothing items that match or tone in with each other.

I personally never thought recolours were a bad idea. Makes it way easier to put outfits together.

If every item came in like 40 colors I would be a very happy (even more broke) girl. Just, not the same 40 shades every time please
People didn't hate recolors, people hated that we only got recolors of the same 2 types of items and nothing else.
Like yeah, skirts and girly shirts were cool, but when every news post was that and nothing for males or people who don't like girly dresses, it sucked.
There can never be too many recolors. ❤️ I love the new recolors of the old stuff. More options is a good thing.
We're glad you've been enjoying the large amounts of recolours :) We tend to prefer releasing initially in limited colours because there have been so many occasions in which we've loved an item but then the userbase has not liked it! Seeing the excellent response to the added colours we've been doing, we're happy to consider adding extra colours to certain sets in the future - as long as there is support behind it.
(Check out the topic Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recolour if you want to add your support to an item - we can't guarantee that it'll get done of course, but it's the best chance for getting these sorts of requests noticed)

Thank you so much for paying attention to that topic and enacting so many of the suggestions from it. Not only is it loaded full of fantastic ideas - it's even better when one of yours is brought to life! It was a real thrill seeing the latest caps and jackets on the site.
I still don't like them cos I have no use for 99% of them. >D Just my opinion!
